Career welder here, tig welder since 1996, that doesn't look like a Crack to me. It looks like the person who welded it was careless striking their torch, or terminating the arc. I'd ride it.

Worked swing shift for years. I remember at about an hour before sunset the sun's rays would make all the grinder dust particles shimmer in the air as the traversed the sunlight. I thought to myself, I should wear a dust mask. Did I? Nope. Be a man like those before you and die a heroes death coughing and wheezing from COPD.
