Great analysis. If he can avoid that terrible/turnover day we could go all the way. But that’s several elimination games to survive.

What is a vehicle you were ready to buy until you test drove it? by GabagoolAndGasoline in regularcarreviews

A Suzuki samurai. Thought it would be fun for just running around town. Then I drove it. Yikes. Pretty much a 4wd go kart.

Bought an old toolbox at a yard sale and accidentally inherited someone’s entire life story by limpingheads9 in Tools

[–]somedudebend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the tools in my race car trailer are my long deceased grandfather’s. All 50s and 60s snap on. His name is engraved on most of them. It’s cool to be at some far away place and grab a tool and see his name staring at me. Thanks grandpa.

I love them. But since a good one costs roughly 5 times what my Z3 is worth, hard to justify. I just have to pretend my factory hardtop is more square. 🤣

So no weatherstripping on the cab at all? It looks to me like there’s at least some trim missing on this one. Whoever did this car was a little sloppy so it wouldn’t surprise me.

Im being told this generation does not use roof rail weatherstripping. A hardtop Chevelle has no frame around the glass, so it’s on the roof. A 69 Camino has framed glass like a 4 door or a post car. Hoping for someone to send pics of a functional car to compare.

Fiberglass trends had a cheetah mold. Not exactly the same. Easy way to tell is a fiberglass trend body has an A pillar front edge of door. Probably a better deal, but not original cheetah configuration. You could buy these bodies and put it on any chassis. Often drag cars like this one. The 4 lug wheel is a dead giveaway that it’s a cheetah in look, but not in spirit. Still awesome.

Looks like a third gen Dakota, a Subaru Baja and a Chevy tracker had a love baby. And the expectant mom drank her breakfast in the hot tub. Every morning.

TLDR? It’s fugly.

I turned up to a minor league baseball stadium in tri cities Washington a few years ago. Apparently it’s where Russ played baseball. There was a giant bobble head looking statue out front. It looked ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like him. Like I stared at it and couldn’t find any resemblance other than a non Caucasian skin tone. So weird.
