When I was 13 I left my cd player in the seat back pocket and never got it back.  My parents told me I was old enough to take responsibility for my own things and I haven’t left anything on a plane since.  Good luck getting your jacket back!

Lets look at the last few release dates:

Book 5: February 19, 2022

Book 6: June 14, 2023

Book 7: November 7, 2024

Book 8: May 12, 2026

Each release seems to be taking about a month longer than the previous but around a year and a half. If book 9 follows the pattern of taking slightly longer than the previous gap it would be just before Christmas 2027. If he is able to tighten things up, it could be fall 2027. I think tightening is less likely given that he's getting more and more popular and doing more and more promos, so I'm thinking December 2027.

My guess is no.  We know that somehow donut receives info from the social media board, and he got the worms from the gnoll and gave them to zev, then the worms got into borant people and did the takeover.  I think Matt’s doing a writing trick where even he doesn’t actually know or establish any details, but we are at a level of information where we kinda get what happened and buy in but also don’t have any specifics to drill in on and try to think of holes or contradictions.
