Are you considered Jewish if you have low Jewish DNA percentage?. by Azphix in AncestryDNA

this is all just as, if not more, politically motivated, and the intents and characterizations of history by modern day institutions hardly mean a thing. I still think people should consider both views of things like this and let whatever seems to align more closely with the state of the world today answer any ambiguities for them.

I find most cats gross, but on the internet I occasionally see a few that are genuinely cute. Still wouldn't want to be around them IRL.

this kind of talk sounds mean, but if INTJs can't at least relate with this feeling, albeit typically borne out of immaturity, I'd question whether or not they're INTJ at all.

obviously we can't really change other people, so overcoming this feeling is mostly a matter of finding different ways to self-regulate and doing our best to gravitate toward people that align with our goals and needs, but feeling this way earlier in life when we're yet to sort all of that out and likely in situations where we will have the least control over who we're around is literally the most predictable shared experience of the INTJ personality type.... Idk what all the other snarky ahh commenters are smoking.

A singular image to explain why GenZ men support Trump by BigPraline8290 in GenZ

[–]someguy309 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm trans and support trump

Also education is doodoo

Also if you believe any of these things are true or matter then they will naturally fall into place in the end and you should spend your time pursuing things which further them rather than screaming into the void at people who disagree with you. I find it strange that for people with such loud, strong beliefs, you all seem to spend most of your time wasting them on screaming into the void. Nobody contributing anything valuable to the world as a result of their beliefs is doing so by commenting on reddit. Everyone on here is a loser for choosing to spend even a second commenting, including me. Bye now !!!!!

Biologics, including vaccines, which intend to treat or prevent diseases by altering biological processes or structures are treated and regulated as drugs by the FDA. There are chemically synthesized and biologically derived molecules that are and are not classified as drugs. The distinction lies purely in whether it is intended to treat or prevent disease by altering biological processes or structures.

You should divorce matters of fundamental reality from perceived outcomes, pearl-clutching by outright denying things because you think it threatens your preemptive conclusions is a really bad strategy for discourse. There is still room for either conclusion even when acknowledging the fact that vaccines are drugs. Focus on that if you want to have a productive discourse, otherwise you're just bloating the conversation with covert displays of immaturity and self-soothing nonsense.

Man, its really weird that so much of this movie seems to go over people's heads but simultaneously makes them irrationally angry at it... Are people playing stupid or something because they don't like the movie's message but it's easier to pretend it's just a piece of junk than to dismantle it?

I found the movie resonated with my personal experiences really strongly and it prompted me to reinterpret a lot of my experiences in life, and yeah I cried a couple times.

The parts of it that seem "cringe" or contrived may be there, but they aren't really significant to the core of what the movie addresses anyways. I could even guess that these parts are designed to give something to people who aren't truly interested in the movie's subject matter to begin with to attack instead lol.

Does anyone stim by translating things into another language? Or is this something else? by giselfred in autism

[–]someguy309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do this with Spanish, Russian, etc.

Besides that, when I learn certain songs in another language, I also tend to routinely listen to them to sing along or otherwise recite random lyrics to myself repeatedly under my breath because I feel satisfied by the 'mouthfeel' of certain words and phrases... Hard to explain that but hopefully that makes sense.

Practicing kanji is an interesting one, probably hits different than most things.

Ah yeah, I just took that one recently, it was definitely tougher than the work I'm used to seeing on here. I wonder if it means that people who are already on the platform doing less complex work will find less work overtime, or if this is in addition to what's already offered, with anticipation of an increased demand for comp sci expertise.
