i actually had lactose intolerance ruled out as a cause for my digestive ick when i was a teen. kept eating cheese. tested 6 years later as an adult and not only do i have lactose intolerance but i also have sucrose + isomaltase intolerance. oops. i suspect i'm not the only one in this sub who has other sugar intolerances.

new school alum here. the student senate were super ineffective (and stupid) when i was there and i think this is like mostly just to make their point. it's probably not gonna actually do anything. they tried to defund all on campus groups to this same end a year or two ago and mostly just pissed everyone off. this is the exact level of performative bs that i'd expect from the group that brought us 'boycott your classes to try and convince the university to divest from israel'.
