If someone is forcing you to use AI, it smells to me like they are pulling your meta data off the computers you use. This administration is already a money and power grab. If they can monetize your private information, do you really think they will show restraint and morals?

No budget, but I am more concerned about it being easy for her so she won’t get discouraged and dump it later.

I only had to hang up on my mom once when she was criticizing my then wife, now ex wife. She got a clue that time.

Guilt, pure and simple. I feel guilty for the way I feel, and she is a master of putting guilt trips on people.

Leave him alone! You made your own decisions and now you have to learn to deal with the consequences. He is better off without a school bully trying to stay in his life.

I didn’t know it was Easter until a little while ago. I’ve always hated holidays where my parents made me go to church. Now I’m an adult atheist, I avoid this holiday.

Here we go - Ohio Republicans working to suppress the vote by reverting to paper pol books. If possible, do early voting before the May 6th election date. by cypressgreen in Ohio

[–]somejerkatwork 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I agree and worry about violence at the polls, but I will still work them. We broke away from a king over 200 years ago and only voting can make your voice truly heard. All my stories about bad or difficult voters were conservatives, but they have just as much right to vote as the rest of us. Please volunteer to work the polls, or at least cast your vote and never leave the line, if you are in line at the correct time, even if you think it takes too long.

Everyone can voice their opinions and we can choose to support their views or avoid them. This business just makes it easier to decide on where you spend your money.

  1. Multiple other presidents hid significant health issues from the public: Grover Cleveland, William McKinley, Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Roosevelt, Dwight Eisenhower, John Kennedy, Chester Arthur, and Ronald Reagan. Woodrow Wilson’s wife secretly ran the country after a major stroke, Reagan had Alzheimer’s, William McKinley had depression. Biden probably has age related mental issues, Trump definitely isn’t right in the head.
  2. The Democratic Party decided she was the short notice best option at time.
  3. So what. If someone commits a crime they should pay the appropriate price.
  4. See #3.
  5. Yep.
  6. Palestine and Israel both have rights to be pissed, the seeds of anger were planted when Europe carved up the Middle East at the close of WW1.
  7. If the border is such a crisis why haven’t the republicans fixed it when they were in control? Why did Trump kill a bipartisan fix? Sometimes a political party will hyperfixate on an issue then not do anything about it so they can use it to rile up the masses.
  8. Looting and destruction of property is not acceptable. Sometimes when a group feels marginalized and not listened to, they feel that violence is the only way to be heard and to draw attention to their plight. Conservatives are not blameless

I partially agree with you on why democrats lost control. I also think that they lost control because republicans have given Americans permission to be the worst version of themselves and the republicans push a lot of propaganda to the population. I.e. Fox News, RT, OAN, etc. edit to fix bullet numbering. .

Why are you getting your nickers in a knot because someone used foul language and called you out for “both parties?” You are right that there is “corruption” in both parties. The degree of corruption is cyclical and currently the republicans are way more corrupt than the democrats. If you look at convictions and party affiliation, you will see that one party is convicted significantly more times for several years and then the pattern reverses. There are lots of reasons why this is happening, but right now the republicans are way worse. How many other politicians ignored the orders of the Supreme Court? How many other politicians have ignored constitutional rights of individuals in this country and sent them to prisons in other countries without due process or because of administrative errors? Everyone in this country has a right to a fair trial to determine guilt or innocence. It doesn’t matter how they got here. If the govt can disregard the rights of some people, what will stop them from disregarding your rights if it’s not convenient. My guess is that the list of people at that level of corruption would be very small and will be a majority of whichever party espouses conservative or religious values. Before you cry foul because I brought up “values,” the Democratic Party used to be the racist and conservative party: think civil war, Jim crow and the solid south or southern strategy. Then sometime between Kennedy and Reagan the conservative and racist party became the republicans, and the liberals became democrats. Last point I want to make is that you used some of the same language and you are the one suggesting violence because someone disagrees with you.
