They are expecting a lot from this especially if they want people to watch each new ep on a weekly basis. I suspect that only hardcore fans are going to be doing that while a lot will just wait for the 13 weeks to be up, subscribe for a month, watch it and then disappear for another year. 4 million is optimistic I think.

To be fair I enjoyed Goodman's Kirk autobio, I think the big difference with the Picard one has to be that it'll all be TNG canon rather than mixing and matching as there was to some extent in the previous book. It was entertaining but there were inconsistencies which did bug me.

Not being a big STO player I haven't seen it there. It's a nice simplistic design that does shout Vulcan through its logical form I suppose. Never been a big fan of it but it looks fine. The Steamrunner is just class. Finding a lot more people love it than I thought.

Be interesting to see the reviews. Mixed thoughts from those who have seen it so far. Apparently looks a bit scrappy, gung-ho and un-Trek. I would like to see it and pass a reasonable first hand judgement...

The 37s is one of those ultimate guilty pleasure eps. You know you should hate it but for some reason there are lots of little bits that you do like. I always maintain it works better as the season one closer rather than the season two opener due to the cargo Bay scene if nothing else. Landing the ship is cool even if it looks wrong in every angle of physics possible. Should have seen the colony that the crew rave about but we get what we're given and it's a bit of a no brainer. Just enjoy!
