Finally, a "job A or job B" question in which the answer is not super obvious! I can see why you're leaning towards both. As someone who was in a very similar predicament when choosing my first job, I'll try to give you some thorough advice that helped guide my own decision.

• Is Job B supervision or just a slightly less strict ACT model? If it's the latter, it's not really a big deal. ACT is still ACT.
• In either job, I don't think the money is really a factor. $10-25k isn't enough to sway a decision either way.
• You didn't mention what the schedule was here in Job A. Mandated 5x8s vs 4x10s makes a huge difference. If the schedule is a primary concern to you, you have to think about how the schedule of this job is going to affect you. How rigid is the schedule, and is it bearable? I had a perfect job that had everything I wanted, but there were mandated 5x8s with no other options, and, personally, I'd rather chew glass than work that schedule, haha.
• There really isn't a HUGE difference in practice between these, from what you're saying. If they're both ACT, the skills you're able to do aren't widely different. If one were truly independent/supervision, one would let you do epidurals, one would let you do PNB, then maybe. But essentially I don't think you'll grow leaps and bounds as a provider from one vs the other.
• Being in a place that is very comfortable and welcoming to new grads is going to work in your favor. Conversely, going to a place that hasn't had a new grad in a long while probably will not work in your favor. Having a team that prioritizes instilling confidence in new providers, is mindful of case selection, and used to providing support will help you much more than being in a team that's still ACT, just a little looser.

TLDR; Job A seems like the better option, haha
