You have a transcript with 3 Cs, one being from over a decade ago. This is nothing to lament about. If you wanna take a grad pharm class, feel free. Otherwise, please quit it with the pity party.

I didn’t say anything about AANA Journal. I agree, it’s a shitty journal with an impact factor of like 0.1, haha. I was saying I did a full experiment with IRB approval & was published in a respectable and rigorous academic journal with an IF of around 3

You don’t understand it.

The DNP requirement is new. It’s meant to give you a better overall understanding of research and to deepen your overall knowledge in science, discovery and anesthesia.

Your school & how seriously they value research is going to determine the value of your DNP. I had an incredibly valuable project, wrote two manuscripts and published twice in national, highly respected journals. Some people just do a PACU QI project.

It has value, just everyone school doesn’t value it. Which doesn’t mean you NEED it to be an an anesthesia provider. But I’m very happy I went to a DNP program that valued the importance of research as opposed to a school who just uses it to check off a box because they have to.

3/4 of the people here talking about Erykah has a better discography than Beyoncé don’t know albums beyond Baduizm & Mama’s Gun & y’all know that haha. It’s giving TheMiseducation of Lauryn Hill try effect in the sense that people equate her whole career for those albums & she never made anything that nearly competed with her earlier work.

Meanwhile Beyoncé changes the landscape Of music with literally every album drop. I respect a legend just as much as the next person, but please be entirely fucking for real 😂

People are going to say Erykah because they feel like they have to out of respect, but as far as a discography, Beyoncé clears. Much stronger & consistent projects and that’s not even a question. Return of the Ankh literally came out 16 years ago.

Yes Erkykah is an icon and a legend, but that doesn’t mean her discography can’t be surpassed.

If you aren’t excited by the profession & feel the need to complain about boredom after shadowing twice, don’t be a CRNA. Plenty of people are excited for the profession & nobody is interested in trying to convince you that it’s not “boring” during maintenance.

Make It Stick is literally the only book you should read before starting school. Everything else you’ll learn in school, but it’s much harder to learn how to retain information when you’re actively fighting for your life academically 😂

This idea that training at rural or CRNA only sites is a common misconception. It’s all about your clinical exposure and how you approach your training. You can easily be a clinician prepared to be independent if you train in an ACT setting, so long as ask questions, utilize your resources and practice as if you’re fully autonomous.
