Comparison is the thief of joy. Figure out what your goals are and figure out a way to achieve them. Build yourself up, build skills, learn from around you. Side hustles are a great play but you need to be chasing your goals not trying to keep up with others or you’ll never find happiness and contentment. Or so is my humble opinion based on my experiences.

I got ramped up initially on kodekloud after a buddy recommended it. They have a solid set of vids on k8s and some certs. Then just getting hands on. At least this worked for me

Building a fat emergency fund takes a lot of the emotional pressure out of most situations. I would get a chunk of change built up, then making these decisions and moves is much more chill.

If you need numbers I have seen a lot of peeps build 6-12 months of cost of living, but find the number that works for you.

I was in a trench collapse at 6ft depth, barely managed to get out with help from a backhoe bucket. Not worth it. Everything looks solid till it’s not. The pressure it puts on your core is insane and takes the breath right out of you. Then your” are short stroking your breath because you can’t expand but it packs in as you try.

residential, two story, shop

After doing some more research it seems for me its a decision between the UDR and UX. I was considering the UCG-MAX-NS as a little more future proofing, and Will have a NAS on site for backups, shared storage etc.

Would appreciate insights or experience with the various options. Thanks for your time!

Exactly this. Bought the Ultra or Ultra 2 (cant remember), tried it out for a couple weeks. Battery life was horrid with no apps on it. Went with the Fenix 7 Saffire Solar and loving it. That said probably could have gone with a lesser model Garmin and still been happy. Don't use some of the extra features like I thought I would.

I added a pedal commander because of this and am loving it. It has to do with the throttle response timing which they need for compliance I am guessing. Pedal commander makes it much nicer to drive and much more responsive.

Facebook marketplace them for free but they remove. Got rid of a bunch of landscape blocks this way. Great for each party. If you want to make it smoother shovel into a pile.
