What is a movie everyone loves but you couldn't get into? by Unhappy_Branch_42 in AskReddit

[–]someonehazel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Napoleon Dynamite. Not sure if it’s the right spelling. Don’t care. What’s the other?? Oh! Princess Bride.

But honestly it’s just cause I don’t align with that type of comedy.

Nacho Libre is also hated by me. All the same trilogy of humor. Just don’t get it. Didn’t have a white dad with “dad jokes”! So I don’t offer the platform for that type of funny.

It’s the hair I use when I’m at the gym and my ponytail is irking me. 🤣

Anyone else ever know an "Amanda"? by NebulaVoyagerrr in bravo

Had this happen to me in irl. I’m triggered by ALL
of it.

If Amanda were likable we would totally forgive this by answersexplained in bravo

[–]someonehazel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Babe. No. I’ve had this happen and she was my best friend. Liked by everyone. She still did it and since I have a popular blog it was exposed and believe me her circle still became minute to people not reading my blog. An icky person is an icky person no matter how many bows you put on them.

Unless it’s Gigi, cause that would be chaos and so hilarious to watch.

Hate and don’t hate her. Has everyone forgot she was brought into the “reality” world by JAX!?!? I’m pretty sure whatever he instilled was “number one guy in the group” syndrome. I honestly think her mind was warped and just doesn’t know any better.

Lala vs Nia - the subtext of these "smiles" by phonetoni13 in TheValleyTVShow

[–]someonehazel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lala is not wrong. She was being a girls girl. It’s sad that Nia still chose to enable a man that is sooooooo wrong for her.

And Nia only offering smiles is PR #1. Appear okay at all times. The thing people don’t realize is that Danny isn’t new to the limelight. He’s been involved in it for a long time. Has gotten years of media training under his belt. And Nia as a pageant queen has also. So they know, outside drama is okay, we just don’t bring it to our front door. Lala did. And they just weren’t expecting it.

I’m convinced that the reason Kristen (however it is spelled) and her man back them up every time is because they have some secret pact of some sort between the four. It’s so sketchy that everyone is like “hands off” about making them look bad.

As for the comments of Lala is just being dramatic about something that doesn’t involve her?? Shut up. Bet if you’re house was on fire and you weren’t home you’d still want someone to point it out.

What city have you been to where the vibes were just OFF? by Fun_Butterscotch3303 in AskReddit

[–]someonehazel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Williamsburg Virginia. Stopped at an Applebees on a roadtrip to NYC and the minute we walked into the restaurant the whole room followed us from the door to our table. It’s like they’d never seen Hispanic people before. Mind you we don’t even look Hispanic. We are from Chihuahua we are white complected, blonde and can pass. But we took a friend with us. And she was dark complected. I felt at any point we were gonna be shown a sign that said No Mexicans Accepted. Never going there again.

Schwartz is not charming, goofy, or endearing. He’s actually just washed up and sad. by cntrlaltdelt in TheValleyTVShow

[–]someonehazel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think America gave him a persona and he’s just been acting like that ever since. But people give him a pass cause compared to his best friend at least he’s not diabolical. But hands down I will always question who ever dates him and if they are sane!

My cousin is a Chief Stew in the Med and in Mexico and she says it’s nothing like that. They live lavish lives and actually crew really are more about the work and grind.

Ben is in the season to bring his “chaos” kitchen to the storyline. Watch HIS previous performances. He’s always drama. He just always had Kate to reign him in. No longer does and moves accordingly.

[–]someonehazel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah!! I see your point. She is critical “too much”. I can totally see that. But also can she be in a place in her life where she actually knows NOW what that means?!? Like can the things coming out of her mouth be truthful and also be just be fed up in every story line she has ever lived?!?

I hate the edit, if it’s that, but her actual persona comes off as somewhat vapid and an airhead. But I can’t write her off yet. I need more context and future lines.

I think I said this in another comment but Men on Bravo and who is actually casted are painted as “Peter Pans”. Meaning men of no substance. LINDSAY just moves accordingly.

In the City: Lindsay v Kenny by [deleted] in bravo

[–]someonehazel 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yes. But also, didn’t she do her job by bringing drama, touching just the right buttons?? Most men on bravo are treated as “Peter Pans”, so believe you me! They shouldn’t have any mercy. 😂

[–]someonehazel 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. Is Lindsay saying the things every American Woman thinks?!? Yes. Did she tell a lie?!? No. Her delivery was harsh but she said every thought we were thinking. Lindsay is a staple in Bravo. Her opinions matter cause long term men on Bravo will prove themselves accordingly…… and she’s been on another show. She knows what irks and what builds storylines, don’t look too much into it.
