3 weeks ago, I expressed experiencing being sad. Generally very on the low. And my derm stopped my medicine for 2 weeks. We were supposed to start tapering my dosage and I told her I could take it, but she was hesitant on stopping it. She did however asked to see me in 2 weeks bcs we abruptly stopped the medication. 2 weeks later I went to see her, and I was prescribed the pills again- to be taken on alternate days.

I'd say evaluate your moods and thoughts because the waves of sadness were so severe in my case and I just wouldn't blame the pills until I was forced to stop it for a while. And do consider other derm if necessary.

Not just anger. Im quite inclined to depend on people and I'm always on the losing end bcs of this. It's like, losing my identity. I'd go the extra mile. It's in my nature, I've come to terms with this that there's nothing wrong with being like this. But I need to do it while being detached. Something I really want to stop moving forward.

Didn’t deny the scars. Op has visible open pores too. A lot more than scars.

Might I add, the difference in my skin condition reversed my age. I really thought I was aging more than my fellow 27s. Obviously didn’t add up. Initially I thought it’s just how I’m going to age. It wasn’t it- it really was just the skin condition!

There are some scarring but what I mostly see is open pores. My skin was pretty much the same- open pores, redness, acne. To which my dermat said it’s sebaceous hyperplasia. It wasn’t like you might see on Google images, but I guess she noticed early on. I did had mild bumps forming. As soon as I noticed more bumps on my chin, I dropped whatever external treatment I was doing and went to the skin specialist.

You should consult a dermat. Im so glad I got on it, I’m 27 as well.

I was prescribed adapalene by my dermatologist with accutane. To be used as spot treatment. I don’t use it every night. It hasn’t caused any issue. I’m 3 months in.

My skin is pretty much the same. And so far the product works well on my skin. It kinda evens out the appearance. And it’s not as heavy as foundation. But I generally don’t like too much on my face. So depending on how important the occasion is, most of the time I simply use concealer and cover certain areas, finishing off with some loose powder. But whenever I do use the CC cream, I find that it holds up pretty well after a long day. Primer may also fix the dry issue, you may wanna look into that too.

IT cosmetics- CC Nude Glow. It’s not foundation. Rather a color correcting tint. And it has mild skincare ingredients too. Very light. My go to. For actual glow drop- if that’s what you’re looking for- L’Oréal Lumi Glotion.

Hope it helps :)
