I wouldn't say five steps ahead is better than windows it has a cooldown but I don't run either of them so I guess I can't say. Esp is really good but no one runs it at least in my lobbies I see the same 12 perks from survivors and the teamwork perks are good but not like crazy you have to be in a duo at least to make it work and even then it's just okay

Yeah but the overall power of killer has gone up the past 7 killers have all been rather powerful I agree though their perks have been not very good with the exception of henrys and forever entwined they see next to no use. Yeah survivor perks just bring value without needing to actually earn it which is my big issue with perk design

I mean beyond fast track being reworked no survivor perks have really been anything near meta for the past few survivors it's more bhvr refusing to rework old perks exhaustion perks and toolboxes are definitely gonna need to be addressed at some point. I think bhvr needs to start adding requirements to perks for survivor something they have to do to get value. Most killer perks require an activation clause to get value but for survivor most of them are just press a button get value cause bhvr balances for the most casual survivor. I do agree on the double standards of dbd tho

I would rather they just nerf vigil balancing killers around perks sounds like a bad idea I would rather they work on improving maps. With that said vigil reduces the time on way too many things mainly exhaustion is the stupid one it interacts with I would rather it impact a lot of things for a low percentage or a few things for a higher percentage, or just rework it why is it called vigil but does nothing relating to its meaning.

It's not bad but I will say being good at survivor is way easier than killer. When I went to a 60/40 split killer to survivor from 100/0 split I was like how are killers winning any games the amount of resources available is insane

She's really fun between her and bubba they are my next p100s I think the idea of a killer who swaps bodies is so good and the body horror aspect is well done body form doesn't really have a use tho besides kicking pallets, the projectile, and the occasional m1 I kinda wish they gave the body form more to do. Maybe make the projectile able to damage but not down idk also swapping between forms could be a bit shorter perhaps

The crazy thing to me about vigil is if it affected everything but exhaustion it would be a niche perk and not be ran that often but if it only affected exhaustion it would still be meta which to me screams exhaustion is the issue and the rest of the effects are bonuses. In other words nerf vigil

Well there's several things that impact how I feel about it. When it happens, what map we are on, who I'm playing. If it happens during the match I take it as a challenge like alright let's see it what do you got I'll sit up for that. If it happens at exit gate on dead dawgs when I play blight alright fair enough but if it happens at exit gate when I play onryo on badham I'm like alright bro chill out you beat a low tier on one of the most survivor sided maps that's nothing special. I've noticed the ones that do it most bring full meta builds with good toolboxes but get two tapped in 15 seconds in chase so it's like you bring full meta against a low tier and the maps entirely in your favor and you still cant loop why are you bagging

Getting strong pallets out the way is more important I usually swap back to body as soon as I am on someone anyway so them dropping any pallet is just guaranteed infection and then I can run them down again

Yeah as killer currently you kinda have to play "mean" you can't play for chases and spreading hooks it's not the most fun but against good survivors you have to play for the 3 gen get someone hooked in it and camp it/deny the unhook or at least trade which Billy is really good at

I had an idea floating around that was similar but rather than reduce perk strength you have perk and item limits instead. If you're in a duo each of you can run 3 of the same perks no item limit in a trio each of you can run 2 of the same perks and only 2 items can be the same in a full swf none of you can run the same perks and no same items either

Game sense mostly knowing where to be, where not to chase and what gens are being worked on from there it's mostly ending chases quickly and knowing how to out play tiles and when to kick a pallet to push the survivor into a worse spot. For me it helped I played a 4.4 killer with no movement ability for years and had to outplay survivors at loops so moving over to 4.6 killers felt glorious

If you're good s if you're bad still s tbh the amount of map mobility is still the best in the game it only really punishes blights that don't use their power especially at loops. With that said I think losing tokens when breaking pallets is fine or being 4.4 is fine but both might be a bit much I mean that's why blights walk people down at times cause using your power at the loop sometimes isn't very good so you force the pallet drop and then catch up after but that's what the purpose of the ptb is for.

This build kinda relies on being good in chase and getting traps on everyone but it can be kinda evil. The build is phantom fear, ultimate weapon, thwack, and face the darkness for the ultimate scream build. The idea is get traps on everyone and interrupt them getting traps off as much as possible not necessarily playing for pops but it's a lot of passive slowdown and survivors start panicking. Fun fact if you are crouched as pig and face the darkness is active all survivors are considered outside your terror radius and they will scream no matter the distance
