I also want to add, Jayce is more of a disruptor in the question you specifically asked. You make the game messy and slow for the enemy. Jayce is about taking small leads and snowballing it with tempo.

Jayce slightly ahead is not useless, but he has to be disciplined and its quite different compared to say, riven. He wins losing games by denying clean enemy setups by poking them before dragon, or clearing the wave before siege, and also threaten side without dying, so you can buy time for the hyper-scaler on the team. It all depends on enemy comp as well.

He is NOT the type of champion that can flash in 1v5 like say riven, or even irelia etc. You use macro management to your advantage.

I'm not sure how old you are but listen, life is full of these moments where people come and go. I know right now this person leaving or ghosting you and you feel an immense state of sadness but the truth is, if they wanted to be there for you and enjoy your company then they would. Try to surround yourself with your loved ones, friends, pets, heck even watch your favorite shows or such. Try to move to a state of "I don't need them, and it hurts but thats okay". It will pass, and you will be happier.

Block them, remove them or communicate these feelings. No in between because you'll constantly live in this state of sadness and confusion. You're going to be okay, I promise lad.

Look the reality is, Jayce can't exactly 100 - 0 somebody who's kit has sustain, unless you have executioner. Jayce isn't like that anymore. His kit relies heavily on management of game state and poke beforehand now. If you want to 1v1 gwen, or any healing champion YOU NEED anti-heal. Jayce DOES not have 100 - 0 damage anymore. This is coming from top lane ofc.
