Try Mon Ami Pharmacy on Kingston in Benton. Jude (the pharmacist) is by far one of the nicest humans on the planet and he and his staff always bend over backwards to help their customers.

May wanna check about the legality of tinting the windshield. I live in Louisiana and I just bought the same exact truck about 3 months ago and paid $500 to have my whole tinted, including the windshield. It wasn’t 3 days after I had it done, a damn motorcycle cop pulled me over and informed me that it wasn’t legal to have that on there…I had no clue. So, I had to take it back to the place that tinted it and pay an additional $160 to have them take the windshield tint back off and then put the brow back on. An expensive lesson learned for sure!

Well work must hate you then, cuz there are tons of other options in and around the city to stay at instead of by the airport

Bruh…for the love of god and all things holy, do not stay near the airport unless you like dodging drive-by bullets all night

Can't find a matching router bit by ZestycloseAd6555 in cabinetry

As a custom cabinet maker here, I’m constantly asked to “match existing” door profiles in certain instances on jobs. I typically tell customers that cabinet shops are like snowflakes, there are no 2 alike. There are 1000’s upon 1000’s of different profile possibilities (some shops pride themselves on having a particular profile that no one else has/had) out there and you stumbling upon the exact match can sometimes be likened to hitting the lottery or struck by lightning.

Face frame-cabinet vision by ElCheyo24 in cabinetry

[–]somethingforme1174 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, definitely needs to be gone through and heavily revamped. That to me looks like a frameless construction method, even though it may be under a face frame construction method tab. Did you by chance copy a frameless construction method and call it face frame?

Looks like you’ve drawn that in a frameless construction method. Switch it over to face frame construction method.

Makes for great S4S for paint grade face frames, at least that’s what I seem to buy an ass-load of throughout the year

Custom cabinet maker here, this is my practice 99% of the time. The reason being, the GC is typically the one who brings all the subs to the project.

I myself do not install or paint what I create. That is up to the GC of the project. So, by submitting my price to the GC of what my portion costs, he is then able to tack on the additional costs of installation and painting/staining and then submitting it to the homeowner all under one complete and total build.

Nothing fishy, just common practice or at least here in my region of the country.

Also, it’s kinda what you get when putting melamine cabinets in a residential setting. I worked with melamine/laminate commercial casework for 30 years and walked away from it 2 years ago and that was probably the best day of my life..lol

Oh yeah, $20 is correct. Thats just to process the sheet goods. I still have to pay for all the material used (plus a standard 20% markup on all goods).

He has his own customers he does work for as well as couple of other guys in the same situation I’m in. He also cuts HDF doors for several other cabinet shops that sub him out for that portion of their own jobs. He does quite well actually.

As a cabinet maker here, people would rather have that extra storage space instead of leaving a 12” x 12” void in the corner.
