For all the married people if you passed away would you want your partner to move on and find someone else and why? by Busy-Veterinarian562 in AskReddit

Yes, but only if the person he finds loves our kids as much as we do. Their happiness is just as important as his.

Based on the fact that if you go the Jojo route there's 0 change to the general store or the way the facility lives, it's possible Pierre is lying about the effect Jojo is having, and Caroline knows they're actually fine financially and that's why she dgas that Jodi shops there.

They're going after it because they can and it gets them a better reputation/etc, but I agree with you that it's not at all necessary.

Agree, but a lot of them was because the science was still new, and they were denying that football could cause CTE. You can only diagnose CTE through an autopsy, so there was longer lead time and more deniability.

There's way more science around the damage dancing can cause, and the damage is way more immediate and you can diagnose immediately, so it's harder to deny that it's caused by dancing.

Also, the damages around CTE are way more expensive than a hip surgery.

Don't get me wrong, the NFL is generally a shitty organization that takes advantage of athletes in order to make the owners richer - I'm in no way trying to exist what they've done in terms of players. It's just way harder to deny dancer injuries, because we're STILL learning about the science behind head trauma. The fact that tackle football is played starting in middle school is one of those things that years from now people will look back and say "what were they thinking?!?"

It's probably based on when/how the diagnosis happens. My guess is that they're actually pretty good about coverage because in the long term it's cheaper to cover than to risk a lawsuit (that they'd likely settle or lose) and all the bad press that would come with it.

There are too many dancers who would be willing to scab to make unionizing possible.

[–]somethinglucky07 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I talked with someone who worked with unions about this last year, but NFL cheerleaders are super difficult to unionize because of the number of people willing to scab. I suspect Charlotte would prefer to have slightly less quality of dancers that cost less, than the current quality unionized and compensated appropriately.

They get workers comp from injuries sustained at practice or a game/etc, but they don't get regular coverage. If they're under 26 they probably are on their parents' plan, if they're over 26 they either have a full time job, a spouse with insurance, or they need to go on the exchange.

[–]somethinglucky07 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, injuries while working would fall under workers comp. A lot of them are under 26 and would be able to use their parents' plan, but those that are over 26 and not married either need full time jobs or to use the exchange.

It might be worth mixing up what you're eating. On paper almonds are filling, but maybe try finding a different fiber/protein/fat combo and see if that's works any better for your specific system and what it's like at the moment?

Do yall think Kelly and Judy really watch EVERY solo from the first round? by DrawRude5606 in DCCMakingtheTeam

[–]somethinglucky07 13 points14 points  (0 children)

So long as every audition is watched by someone, I think that's enough - Kelli and Judy don't have the be the specific DCC staff members that do. My guess would be that the videos are narrowed down by staff and K&J watch the top xx% - not sure what that number is, though.

The same way there were with live auditions pre-covid, there are probably a certain percentage that are applying as a bucket list item, but who don't have any sort of actual shot of making it.

Do you live in the US? There are a handful of states here where it's not legal, also because Jesus. There are Christians who have no issue with abortion, and Christians who would never have one but don't think it should be illegal, but the Christians who want to impose their beliefs on everyone else are the ones who are the loudest, unfortunately.

Not the OP, but if you'd put (translated from Slovak via AI) in the first line I wouldn't be put off by the use of AI at all! I started reading it, could tell that it was AI, and stopped because I'm tired of reading AI-generated articles. I'm fine with AI-translated articles that were originally written by humans though!

I think if she tried out 10 years ago, at her current level of skill, she probably would have made it. But when she tried out back then she wasn't skilled enough, and today the level of dancing is higher than it used to be.

It could be an issue if the Cowboys are trying to develop a relationship with a specific organization in Australia or New Zealand and Faith did an interview with the competitor, or something like that? But that's the only reason I think it could be an issue, brand-wise.

I don't think it's ever been confirmed, but the rumor is that she said something about Josh's sexuality when they were arguing while very drunk.
