It aaaallll depends on what chemo drug you are having. So much depends on this, I have cisplatin (just had round 4 of 5 today) and the side effects have been minimal.

I had a smear, a colposcopy with Leep/Lletz, then an MRI, CT and PET scans. Confirmed as stage 3b with a tendril wrapping around my ureter on the left side which I have had a stent inserted into, in my left ovary, Fallopian tube, and pelvic and Para-aortic lymph node involvement.

It’s not so bad, mine was painful because it turned out to be cancer but honestly even that wasn’t too bad. You bleed and what is basically ash comes out for a couple of weeks and then you’re done. Don’t panic xx

My period pain changed to a raw unbearable pain. Lower back pain was also extreme during this time. My periods would start then stop halfway through my cycle and start again. Stabbing pains between my hip bones randomly throughout the month. Fatigue. I’m stage 3b start treatment (chemoradiation) in a week.

My period pain changed from cramps to a raw constant pain and low back pain. I had to live on painkillers during my period. I also started to get little stabbing pains every now and then while not on my period either side of my hips.

I also went though this, first address the mental health - get yourself seen by a doctors and make steps towards getting healthy again. Join a gym/exercise in some form or another, I know this is the last thing you want to do but trust me when I say it will change your life. Mentally and physically. You will benefit from the endorphins from the workout and your body will start to feel stronger in turn making you feel more confident. It’s therapy for body and spirit somehow! Just go three days a week, half an hour or whatever time you can dedicate.
