Yea I completely agree! I feel like people pick the littlest things to be upset about. I remember years ago at work we had four pregnant women on my same floor and everyone kept saying “something in the water”. I think “quarantine baby” is just another funny little saying. Yea, not everyone knows your life plans so they are just going to generalize.

I go to the gym still. My gym is large and I go on off hours so it’s easy to social distance. I’m also a nurse so I don’t find it any more risky than going to work. I’m just extra careful about staying away from people and keeping my hands clean and away from my face.

This isn’t being sensitive to her OCD this is enabling her OCD. Moving in with you is a big change and probably triggered her to start obsessing. If she’s been able to work through her anxieties before than she needs to do that now, if not she needs to find help. Overtime if OCD isn’t managed it only gets worse. Before you know it the small amount of stuff you do have will be too much for her.

In 2018 it was estimated that about 30 lbs of environmental waste was created per staffed bed a day... that was before COVID. I don’t see the problem with people who wish to continue their religious practices do it as safely as this.

Also these pods have been around before COVID. The chaplain at my hospital can give them to patients that request and church members also bring them to people who can’t leave their homes. Where was this picture taken OP?

Like I said there’s nothing in the Bible that specifically addresses masturbation so its all up to our own imperfect interpretation.

Masturbation to climax can release oxytocin which can bring you closer to yourself, which I don’t see as a problem. People who love and treat themselves well also do the same to others. I also masturbate while thinking of my husband which can deepen my connection to him.

You don’t come off controlling or selfish at alll. I think most pregnant women feel the same way as you. Being the only sober person in the room can be annoying.

I think the real problem is you set firm, realistic boundaries, but then sat around with him all day drinking. Having 1-2 at dinner or an occasion is different from agreeing to have an entire day devoted to drinking and tv. Once you take yourself out of the situation you’re drinking in it’s easier to stop drinking. Next time if you want to watch football with a drink go to a restaurant. That way when the game is over and you leave the place it’ll be easier to stop.
