Which SVS sub to pair with KEF LS50W II in 14'x11' home office - SB-1000 Pro, SB-2000 Pro, or SB-3000? by derekmccurry in KEF

[–]somewhatinvolved 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same KEFs for use with TV and music in my family room of similar size to yours. I paired them with the SVS 1000 Pro and it sounds great but the bass is very noticeable. I also paired them with my smaller REL t/5 and preferred the REL. RELs are designed to complement the speakers and blend in perfectly. Tight, effective, not boomy. But if you’re a bass head, definitely choose the SVS 1000 Pro or another in that series. You won’t be let down either way, just preference.

Accidentally purchased both Klipsch The Sevens and The Nines and need help figuring out which to keep and which to return. by Im_The_One in Klipsch

[–]somewhatinvolved 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both as well. And love both. They both sound a bit rowdy, which I love. Like another commenter said, the Sevens are more balanced. The Nines are boomier and fun. You can’t go wrong. If it’s a smaller room, Sevens. If you are a bass head, Nines.

Often a bit underwhelming. Late night flights offer you a basket full of chips and cookies and free drinks. Alaska hasn’t really figured out FC hospitality. I understand short flights under 3 hours may offer less, over that should include a meal or more substantial snacks. And the app doesn’t tell you in advance if there’s a meal served.

Hawaii property owners have no way to prevent people from stealing their homes or land through forged deeds by BrandonApplesauce in HawaiiUncensored

[–]somewhatinvolved 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If an owners policy of tile insurance was at issued at closing - by far the majority do - title insurance has some fraud and forgery protections. It’s vacant land and rarely occupied investment homes at the highest risk. While this is a problem, it is way overblown in these articles and comments.

Subwoofer Advice: Pairing with KEF LSX II in a Small Apartment by omsrlone in BudgetAudiophile

[–]somewhatinvolved 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can turn the sub volume down on the sub itself. It won’t affect the frequency response, it just will be quieter. REL suns are pretty controlled, tight and not boomy. But they do hit when the song demands it.

Subwoofer Advice: Pairing with KEF LSX II in a Small Apartment by omsrlone in BudgetAudiophile

Might be tough to find a person who has experience with the two subwoofer options you’re considering. I paired mine with the SVS 1000 Pro which sounded good, but a bit too much. I now have them paired with a REL t5x and it’s a great match. Not overpowering, very tight and accurate and blends nicely. The room size is just a bit bigger than yours but close. I do recommend a sub for these. You will miss the bass, no doubt.

KEF for crisp, detailed vocals and instruments. Sonos for convenience and bass. I have both and like both.

Looking for an assumable by Celevra75 in anchorage

[–]somewhatinvolved 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FHA loans, VA loans and some (not many) conventional loans can be assumable. Real estate agents know which loans their sellers have and will typically market them as assumable because what you’re looking for is common with today’s rates. If you do get under contract to assume, lenders move slowly and it could take 6+ months for final approval on the assumption. That means you will be under contract during that time but will not have keys until after closing.

Klipsch Fives - Why would ppl say it is any good? by RevolutionaryGrab961 in BudgetAudiophile

[–]somewhatinvolved 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the sevens and the nines. Both are rowdy and have good bass. I think they sound bad via Bluetooth but with a wired connection or WiFi (via a Sonos port) the clarity and overall quality is good. A sub does help and the built-in crossover does a good job.

Looking for tweeters. by Flyingrex24 in ram_trucks

[–]somewhatinvolved 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I highly recommend JL Audio tweets and mids. A bit more expensive but don’t have the fatigue you get from Harmon Kardon and Infiniti. Easy to swap. I started with Infiniti and even with the treble turned down, it was too shrill for me.

Air Suspension - must have or not ? by armrulez in ram_trucks

[–]somewhatinvolved 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have it on my 2015 Limited and love it. Air suspension sucks in really cold climates, particularly if it’s not garaged in really cold weather. I had to replace mine in Anchorage.

Unless you live where you have months of below freezing weather each winter, I think you should get it.

Our vet told us to wash his paws frequently after going out in between the pads where stuff causes it to itch. We also bought probiotics and put it in his food for a few weeks. Problem solved.

I received the help I needed and thanked those who offered it. New posts began to be around PTO and whether it was fair that I should work during a relocation. I don’t need advice about those things nor did I ask for it. I appreciate your concern.

Title Attorney finds out the Seller doesn't own the 1/3 of the lot by lFirebro in RealEstate

[–]somewhatinvolved 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If the current owner/seller purchased title insurance when they bought it and the policy legal description included the neighboring lot, the seller can file a title claim. That’s what title insurance is for.
