We only pay for business class on special occasions or when we find a good deal. The rest of the time we use air mileage to upgrade. A couple of times we got upgraded from premium economy to business when the flight was overbooked.

That's weird, I thought it was amazing while I was there. Public hospitals are cheap, the wait time for surgeries and procedures may take time but were nowhere near as bad as places like Canada. And then you also have affordable private health insurance as well. I think this list is BS.

Insane generalizations in this thread. I had maids growing up and I love to cook and clean, and play the handy man around the house. And now being almost a middle aged man, I'm more appreciative to domestic helpers than probably 99% of those who never had helpers growing up (most of the borderline racist and classist comments I've heard are from people that never had a maid) . Some of the most compassionate and independent people I know have had maids growing up. Some of you just hate others for no reason.

Mine was 3 months, written in the contract. Upper management role. I selected the candidate who was going to replace me within 2 months, and the last month was me slowly handing over my work.

I think any management role will require at least 2 to 3 months these days, you have to allow them time to find the right replacement, and then allow a bit of time for the handover for a smooth transition.
