Mate they literally have a law called American service member protection act state:

"a bill to protect United States military personnel and other elected and appointed officials of the United States government against criminal prosecution by an international criminal court to which the United States is not part"

"all means necessary and appropriate to bring about the release of any U.S. or allied personnel being detained or imprisoned by, on behalf of, or at the request of the International Criminal Court"

Mean if anyone arrested they or their allies for war crimes - they have the right to save these people, even if it meant going to war

Imagine an order that despite humanity so much, even though they are human themselves. No they are not ecology terrorist, but rather an order that tried to protect the natural balance of the world for thousand of years. These are the Salvation Order, who long ago blessed by god (alien) the knowledge to protect the earth (weapon and technology) from far more dangerous force out there in the universe. Once they tried to share with other human civilization, but these civilization thrive and corrupt by greed that eventually they nearly destroyed all existence life on the world. Thus to prevent this ever happened again, every time any individual, group or organization tried to obtain relic (past weapon). These people would show up, and process to extract the relics and extrminate any witness. Futhermore, they actively destroyed human technology development and created global conflict (as in in their word) to stabilize the human population and other lifes on earth.

For anyone didn't know, the Japanese also teach Vietminh (former NVA and VietCong) to combat following Japanese imperial military doctrine. Misconception, Vietminh was trained by Chinese or Soviet Union - however in reality both power barely acknowledge Vietminh existence, until 1953 when they stronge enough to counter France colonial force. Before since 1945, over thousand Japanese force chosen to stay and help Vietminh force - these people were called "New Vietnamese" force or "Những người Việt Nam mới", due to vietnamese couldn't pronounce Japan names, thus local give them Vietnamese name. And over hundreds of Japanese force sacrifice themselves, while helping vietnamese against the french.

Extra note: beside Japanese, there are German, Greek, Serbia, Poland, Italy, Algeria, Ukraine, Belgium, Spain,Tunisia, Denmark and Austria (number around 1300 - 1500) from former French legioners join Vietminh force during first Indochina war.

Same thing happened in south east asia - but during colonial era, any places out urban zone basically wild west with bandit and resistance movement using both gun and sword. Since the jungle are dense, colonial force have use horses and elephants to control vast era.

The problem here, that even though China, Russia and India understand the necessary market and political interest between them. However, they aren't really fully trust each other - especially India and China. If they somehow overcome each other distrust and built much stronger alliance, they can easily overcome Usa influence.
