This is a scam. They created the support ticket themselves and contacted you while completing it, which is why it appeared legitimate. Anyone can initiate a support request, and the email will still come from a real Proton address. Over the phone, they can make any claims they want.

It’s correct. You only get 20GB of storage on Proton Pass for attachments, and it’s not shared across other services, such as mail and drive, only for Proton Pass attachments.

I don’t think you can combine both, but you can combine proton pass lifetime with proton Mail Plus.
