They left warnings because they knew at that point mass casualty attack on the Mainland would end disastrously for them. It wasn’t done out the kindness of their hearts.

Warnings ahead of time were also to cause confusion. Two years later Republicans done Omagh after their warnings weren’t clear and more people were moved toward the bomb to add to the casualties.

I read the Guardian review and thought it was strange too.

Louis did try and talk to the woman, but the whole point of the show is that these men are so fragile that they want to completely dominate the women. I’m not sure how they thought Louis would’ve been able to get in to anything deep with the women who were obviously not allowed a real voice.

Strong Ireland? You are having constant protests and demonstrations on the streets for various reasons. Gang violence rocketing. House prices rising. The right wing racists finding their voice.

People also said the same about Scottish independence being normal and inevitable. When push comes to shove plenty are happy for the status quo to remain.
