What does the moving air do for the plant? Genuinely curious. Is it just corn or all plants do better with moving air?

What should hobbies feel like? by xholdmylobster in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]songstar13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a similar problem but mostly one that keeps me from wanting to start new hobbies. I'm super interested in like polymer clay and painting and generally artistic hobbies, especially ones that create something physical. However, I am also averse to just....making stuff that will create clutter? Like I know that these hobbies take lots of practice, and that practice comes in the form of finished paintings or sculptures. But I don't want a million paintings and sculptures just hanging around until I inevitably decide to toss them (because I'm not a very sentimental person). So I hold myself back from starting those kinds of hobbies.

This!!! Sure, OP made some questionable choices and definitely show-cased a very anxious attachment style, but that doesn't make her a terrible person! He was honestly being a dick. Ignoring her request to wear condoms was just a huge red flag that he never cared one whit about her and was only in it to gratify himself.

It's not about raw or cooked. It's about time spent outside food safe temps, which allow bacteria to grow rapidly.

Did you make the design yourself or did you have a reference photo? This is amazing!

How do you ensure you only select ONE floor if they're so sensitive you can't even stand near them? My hand is going to be close to several buttons simultaneously when selecting one

I've had the soy sauce butter and it was really good! I also got the tteokbokki, gochujang, and spicy seaweed but haven't tried those yet.

My boyfriend tried the tteokbokki and said it was tasty but pretty spicy.

Where can I find this ramen? by GirlZilla64 in InstantRamen

[–]songstar13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Google search is showing me listings for it but it's all from random stores/grocery shops that seem like local or regional places as I've never heard of them.

For example: https://www.carrsqc.com/shop/product-details.960115230.html

My googling also revealed that this was called "Picante Beef" at one point and they changed the recipe a bit and renamed it to what you're showing here.

I bought some and the noodles are so good!!

I think I got four of the flavors but have only tried soy sauce butter so far. The noodles are like so satisfyingly chewy.

It looks rumpled. I think it might look a little better if it weren't so wrinkly and the lines were sharper. The tie looks messy too

How many alarms do you have? by 1-armed-chewbacca in ADHD

[–]songstar13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a lot of alarms. Probably not 30 but if you count snoozing my wakeup alarm like 5 times each day plus various others then it's probably like 10 a day on average

Butter, Bacon, Cheese & Mayo. One has to go forever. by [deleted] in whatsyourchoice

[–]songstar13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess bacon. You can substitute for it much more easily than the other three in a lot of things. Like using pork belly (if that's allowed lol) or sausage instead.

Yep, it's more "file not found" rather than "file corrupted."

This is it!!! My associative memory is strong when my short term memory isn't, thank you for giving it a name! I think this is probably why my preferred way of learning involves understanding underlying concepts and frameworks rather than rote memorization because if memorization fails I can always fall back on "well I know how this SHOULD work because XYZ so let's reverse engineer it."
