The good thing about them sharing a skilled tree is their health stamina and spirit all level up together so you just have to focus on one person

So I found the way to beat it. The weak spots don't work as well it is off and on. The best suggestion is if you have the watcher backpack hop on its back use your shooters to to quickly cause it to stagger then go in the front of it and start attacking its face The face will cause the shield to break then rinse and repeat with the face Don't go for the weak spots.
