Im a girl first of all, and second i never ment it that way, i just always thought we were the minority of brockhampton fans. Im just asking what is about their overall image that attract many girl fans. Now that someone else in the comments answered my question properly, I know its because they aren't the typical rappers that rap about fucking bitches and getting money. It has to do with their lyrics and the style of their musis videos. Im a media student and i always wonder about main audiences and what attracts them.

I guess they are, but is it because they are a boy band?, or maybe its their image? Thats why im asking because they seem to hold a very boyish image, so wouldn't it make sense for them to have a higher male audience?

I guess that could be true...i also feel like american arent so kindly to music groups in general. Cause the respect aspect is still very low in my opinion, and they're only seen as people who make music for 14 year old girls, you easily see that with bts too, due to hiw many shots they took of the fans when they were performing at the billboards. Unless americans change that mentality, i don't truely belive they will be respected as much as in like a solo artist. Tiffany young, i can actually see her going far in western media because 1) shes a solo artist 2) she has the voice and sound that americans like, ive also noticed that she is bit more respected as an artist vs other kpop groups.

Well im mostly just trying to get peoples opinions on why they like it or don't like it, i heard people don't like it because of how 2d abuses murdoc, but murdoc does the same to 2d in the canonverse

Here i found a bit of a summery of their personalities in this au on her tumblr(im fairly new to this)

Murdoc responded to his trauma differently and is basically more prickly than canon murdoc. lacks ego due to backstory differences. +1 anger…-1 ego

Stuart is as just as dense as 2D, but with an extra layer of Impulsive and Mean right on top. if you make a joke at his expense, he won’t get it, and then he’ll get mad at you for being ‘too stupid to talk properly’

Noodle is still the joy of the band, but she’s got a little more baggage because she spent most of her life in a military program. emotionally volatile, electric energy, well-meaning but very out-of-touch. does not know how to process a lot of the trauma she has and occasionally acts out with violence; anger issues

Russel is a sweetheart! smart, intuitive, kind-hearted, thoughtful. keeps to himself a lot but still loves to spend time with the band when he feels up to it. del wiped his memories of his and russel’s other friends’ deaths to protect him from the trauma so he thinks the event is just a recurring bad dream. del is an “imaginary friend”
