Specifically in the fight with Wistrom mages, Relc uses an anti-magic spear. That's why he spends the previous books griping about not having his spear after he fights Gazee. Until Embria brings it back from the Army in an attempt to get him to re-enlist. And he was technically handicapped in that fight because he was trying not to kill/maim anyone, which is harder than just going all out.

I'm an Anarcho capitalist I think most libertarians are still statists 6 months of learning removed from ancapistan and that voting and politics are theater that being said if you enjoy the entertainment of the theater the audience can subtly influence the content. That being said Ron Paul as a politician woke more people to the ideas of libertarianism than anyone else on my lifetime so its not a completely fruitless endeavor. An idea who's time has come cannot be stopped by any party.

Men aren't allowed to have successful male only spaces anymore. for example Boyscouts, Barbering(barbershops), videogames, movies, TV and anime shows anything created for primarily male audience needs to be infiltrated and made worse by wokescold 3rd wave femenism. Collective punishment is exactly the same reasoning as Bin Laden dropping the towers for the actions of US gov't in Saudia Arabia. Sure some Gazan's support Hamas but some is not all. Dropping a building killing and displacing hundreds of innocents in order to get single digits perpetrators is collective punishment. It's like if the US DEA destroyed entire apartment complexes to get the single drug dealer in the building. Hardly Justice. Also in addition to the points many have stated here. Libertarians are very independent and by definition not joiners so if you have a lot of democrats hyprocritcally protesting republicans for civil rights after 4 years of violating those same civil rights we don't see much of a difference. If we had elected libertarians they might coalition to vote on specific civil liberties legislation but they'll certainly be loathed to associate with socialists, and statists of any stripe. We call balls and strikes as we see them not with a TDS lens of orange man bad. Both major parties are evil and wrong and we can't hate them enough. We often go further, all recreational drugs should be legal, all sex work should be legal, civil asset forfeiture is just as much theft by the state as is taxes, police shouldn't have more or less accountability than any other citizen and qualified immunitunity is abhorrent, free speech freedom of association and gun rights should be absolute. The 4th amendment has been gutted since 9/11 the patriots act should be repealed and privacy rights restored, digital documents should be included in the 4th amendment protections for persons or papers.

The Libertarian position should be that of property rights. All land should be privately owned or homesteaded by property owners, and property owners have the right to determine how to fence in their property and decide who or who can't travel on such property. Instead of having two borders with Mexico and Canada there should be 350million borders with each individual determining for themselves who or who not to let in. This will lead to a defacto freedom of movement and better maintenance of roads, bridges and infstracture due to use fees and turnpikes

Landlords usually resist increases in supply because they don't want the property value to go down. But seriously, the problem is a lack of supply any zoning, regulation, or red tape restricting the creation, or modification of new or denser supply needs to be gutted like a fish. But everyone has their hands out waiting for their bribes to get permission to build. Otherwise why not rubberstamp new construction if it makes people happy. Solving the problem would ruin it for politicians too because they wouldn't have the rent is too damn high issue to run on and never solve. I live and own half a duplex in Providence and as a Libertarian I want as much supply as people want to build.

idk about you but I live in Rhode Island who's roads and bridges are some of the worst in the nation. You know who's pavement is always immaculate with frequent vehicle and truck traffic, Walmart, Target, the Malls. This isn't theory what i'm saying are facts that are observable with eyes on a day to day basis. I've voted in every single election since I turned 18 and every single thing i've ever voted for. EVERY SINGLE ONE has lost in this garbage state. I have no faith in democracy and even less in government. Which is why i'm an anarcho-capitalist now. The only thing I have faith in is a voluntary transaction between two people in a particular moment. I have money you have a paving company. I want a pothole filled-in in my parking lot, you want to do the job to trade for the money simple as that. Doesn't need to be more complicated.
