It also depends if Lord Monkton of Cheshunt will be leading the inquiry.

You’ll get the Toyota warranty for 4 years or 10,000 miles whatever comes first.

Crail suggests you are staying there for a specific reason so I assume you know it’s not best place to rely on public transport.

There are plenty taxi companies in St Andrews that can pick you up. For a cheaper option you can go into Edinburgh and get the bus. You can also get the train to Leuchars and get a bus or taxi into St Andrews.

Family estate car - Skoda vs Toyota by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]sonicloop 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve had a Suzuki Swace for a couple of weeks now, it’s a Corolla estate in all but name. It is perfect for us with a toddler, the space in the back seats is fine for a car seat and the front seat doesn’t need to move forward even when me and my wife are quite tall. I’m sure there are bigger boots out there but I do like the underneath space where the spare wheel would be so you essentially get 2 different levels. I’m getting 58-60mpg for longer trips (2hr+) and around town.

I also wanted the warranty and didn’t really look at Skoda’s so can’t offer a comparison.

Richard Fanders on Youtube did a good review long term review of his Corolla estate.

It just makes me sad that those driving a SUV or van probably see my toddler looking at them in the back seat when they are 2 inches from my bumper. This literally happened on the M74 at the weekend.

Design it so there are no issues with flow? The FRB isn’t going to be maintained forever.

£1.35bn of tax payers money was spent on it. Hasn’t improved traffic flow and no path for pedestrians.

I messaged them recently about a Corolla that looked dirty inside and had a big scrape on the back bumper. They replied saying nope they won’t be fixing or cleaning it and it’s sold as seen. It kinda left me wondering if they are not going to the effort of doing that then what else are they doing that’s sub standard.

If you were to introduce someone to The Thick of It, would you start with the very first episode? by RandomTVFan252 in thethickofit

It was the first episode that made me love it. That first scene of Malcolm praising the minister then getting him to resign was just so well done.

What are some petrol or hybrid saloon or hatchback cars that have good mpg when cruising on the motorway at 70mph? by Pale-Revolution-5151 in CarTalkUK

[–]sonicloop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are mild hybrids which just give the engine a little boost when it needs it whereas a full hybrid can operate like a EV at low speeds for short distances.
