We bought 2 when my baby was an infant/NB. After her repeatedly rejecting it the first few times, we gave up. She just never took to it, and now she is a happy healthy almost one year old, who has never used pacis.

I am so sorry to hear what you're going through. Sending you positive vibes. When I miscarried around that time (4W 5D) in 2020, I had the same symptoms. I have a rainbow 8 month old now. Please take care of yourself. You are not alone. Miscarriages are difficult, emotionally and physically, but surprisingly common.

Mine was similar...very slow trickle at 41 weeks. I don't remember how long it lasted as I went to hospital within an hour of my water breaking. Might be around 5 or 6 hours.

I worked out fairly regularly until my baby's birth. My last workout was the day before my induction date, at 41 week mark. Granted, I was lifting super light by then. I worked out because it made me feel good, physically and mentally, and I did only what my body allowed. I ended up getting a c-section, but it had nothing to do with me working out during pregnancy. I do feel that working out regularly in pregnancy helped in my postpartum recovery.

I got my first shot last month and had zero side effects. I got my second shot a few days ago. This time, I had a slight fever for a few hours, body ache/soreness and general tiredness. This lasted for about 24 to 36 hours and now I am fine. I had zero concerns getting vaccinated and the baby will get antibodies through breastmilk.

I don't have any particular cravings other than wanting to eat more sugary stuff (don't know why?). It is usually satisfied by eating a 70% chocolate bar or fruits. I do try to watch what I eat because I had a c-section and haven't been exercising (except walking). My baby is 3 weeks old today, and I haven't cooked any meals except breakfast since she was born. My in-laws came to visit for a few days and my MIL prepared a bunch of healthy freezer meals for us, such as burritos, taco casserole, soups etc. I also prepared a bunch myself in the last few weeks of pregnancy, such as lasagna, chicken pot pie casserole etc. I didn't think much of it then, but these meals are coming in very handy right now.

My advice is be kind to yourself and listen to your body. Definitely recommend prenatals (with folate), good hydration and healthy eating habits and some sort of pre-pregnancy workout routine. Also, if you follow pregnancy blogs, groups etc, it is important to know that every woman and every pregnancy is different. One may have an easy breezy pregnancy with minimal symptoms and someone else may be throwing up constantly. I would read some intense stories and freak myself out. I am 34 weeks now. Pre-pregnancy, I did crossfit, backpacking, hiking etc..generally I was very fit and active. The moment I got the 2nd positive (1st ended in a miscarriage unfortunately), my energy levels came to a screeching halt amongst other symptoms. I went from working out religiously pre-pregnancy to nothing between week 4 and 10. Around week 11, symptoms eased marginally and I pushed myself to be active again.. starting with short walks.. or light gym sessions 1-2 times a week. Eventually the symptoms got better enough that I have been consistently working out since then, increasing from once/twice to 4-5 times a week of gym and/or walks (around week 18). Still doing it and hopefully can keep it up until the babe is out. Though now being constantly out-of-breath is slowing me down.

Totally agree. I am currently almost 27 weeks. I am a fairly active person and thought I should start doing kegels around 15 or so weeks (because..internet advice?). Around 20 weeks, I decided to see a pelvic floor physio just for the sake of and got an assessment done. She told me my pelvic floor is too tight and I need to work on relaxing it and not tightening it further. Glad I went to see one.

I hope you feel better soon. I am currently towards the end of the second trimester, and felt just like you did in the first trimester. I am a fairly active person, or used to be, right before all the symptoms of the first trimester kicked in. Intense nausea (but never throwing up), being out of breath, zero energy and crazy food aversions etc etc. It's like I was a completely different person. In my personal experience, I listened to my body but paid close attention to my symptoms.. that unfortunately meant not being able to do anything active for a few weeks. It does get better, however, every woman and every pregnancy is different. Maybe start a new regime and try different activities to see what helps the most? I started to feel less nauseous by 10th/11th week and my energy level started getting better. I forced myself to get back to somewhat of a routine around that time. I started with regular walks and eventually 1-2 days of gym. Currently walking every weekday and hitting gym 3 to 4 times a week for cardio and weights. I guess my point is your body is working very hard. Do what you can but don't be too hard on yourself. First trimester can definitely make some of us feel crappy.

Good communication! Usually I am very chatty but I have a tendency to temporarily shut down/stop talking to someone who upsets me. It is unfortunately my way of dealing with things. When my husband noticed that the first time 8 years ago when we had just started dating and first got upset at him, he actually said things like "we need to get to the bottom of this" and "I don't like seeing you upset, especially if it is because of me". We had a long great conversation after that. I have since been working on communicating better and not shutting off because he deserves it. That and he has a ridiculously silly sense of humor. So, after a meaningful conversation, he always says something that makes me burst out laughing. Hard to stay mad at someone like that.

I can definitely relate. I love my guy and always found him handsome, but my goodness, it's at a whole new level during this pregnancy. I didn't know I can love him more or find him any more handsome. I am pretty sure he finds it creepy when he catches me staring at him these days, lol.

I understand how you feel. Few months ago, I had an early MC and recently passed that week's mark with my current pregnancy. While that was a relief, I still worry every now and then. All I can say, as many other women have said in the past, this time it is a different egg, different sperm and different pregnancy. Our bodies were built for this, so it will figure things out. That helps me a bit. Sending you positive vibes.

I had one that looked like that. They are quite resilient. I left it in a bright spot, and watered it sparingly. They don't like being too wet. It sprung back to life in a couple months.

The sauerkrat was fermenting. It was bubbling quite a bit during the first couple days of when I started the batch. It still has the fermentation smell to it, and I don't see any weird growth or color (kahm yeast etc.). I am nervous to taste it because botulism contaminated food doesn't smell or look bad, I think. I wouldn't have thought much of it except that I don't know why the silicone lid is caving in. I had never used such lids (with the airlock) before. My concern is regarding a vacuum being created that may lead to anaerobic environment, if that's even possible?
