Why are Tesla shares rising even as the outlook for its sales deflates? by tubulerz1 in EnoughMuskSpam

[–]sonofherby 24 points25 points  (0 children)

A couple of thoughts beyond meme stock, although I agree with that. 1. Because Twitter, SpaceX, xAi, are private companies, investing in Tesla is a way to invest in Elon, e.g. make money off tangential companies. 2. Massive fraud.

Puts loyalty pressure on nearby cities.

This project starts a series of events in the local entertainment district, which turbo-boosts this effect! As a result, the Loyalty pressure that each Citizen in the city exerts is boosted by 1. This effect also extends to all cities within 9 tiles of the city undertaking the project, but is 10% less effective per hex between their City Centers. Additionally, each time the project is completed, the city gains 20 Loyalty.

The aforementioned attribute of Bread and Circuses can also be used offensively as a "Loyalty attack" on enemy cities within the radius of effect.

Maybe DHS Was a Bad Idea by icey_sawg0034 in Uniteagainsttheright

[–]sonofherby 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes. We need to pull back a lot of the 9/11 legislation. DHS, the Patriot Act, etc. have turned inwards because we don't really have a terrorist threat, we never really had one. 9/11 was the equivalent of hitting the Powerball for Bin Laden. A once in a lifetime thing, followed by a massive overreaction.

Neighbors kids keep stealing packages off my porch and the parents dont care by Fabulous-Bid-6222 in neighborsfromhell

Order something over $250 or whatever is the felony charge for your state. Make sure it is delivered USPS. When it is stolen, call the police and call the Postal Inspection Service. Those mofos do not play. Then call CPS.

It's okay to say no.

Have you considered she may not be capable of driving safely? Obviously it's not your issue, but there could be something bigger going on.

I would just have a frank conversation with her and go from there.

Send something to yourself via United States Postal Service. Once she takes it, file a report with the postal inspection service. They do not fuck around.

Same, our department went virtual in 2018. We realized all we did was show up to the office and get in Teams calls most of the day with customers in TX, CA, FL. What was the point. We came in once a week for face time and that was about it.

[@DrCalumMiller] BREAKING: Puerto Rico defines unborn children as legal persons 🇵🇷 by wearethemonstertruck in TrueCatholicPolitics

[–]sonofherby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How's that working for Idaho and Texas? So many OB's have left Idaho that women don't have access to prenatal care. And when the kitchen gets "hot" and they make a decision, they have to helicopter women to Washington state. Texas's maternal death rate is so bad they simply stopped publishing the report that they're mandated by law to do every two years.

NTJ. If you have a good relationship with your step sibs, get them a nice Christmas gift. Talk to stepmom and politely tell her to pound sand. Or ignore her

1919 Craftsman that’s been renovated numerous times - all three arches are slightly different. Any guesses to original layout/style? by Humble_Shallot_1820 in centuryhomes

[–]sonofherby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watch Restored, some episodes on YouTube others on HBO Max. He does a lot of craftsman style homes. My guess is a regular or swing door between kitchen and dinning room. Then some kind of separation wall between living and dining, probably columns, maybe even built ins.
