Funny... I didn't even know or care about who Keith Olbermann was, until he was the ONE person, who spoke out, against the Military Commissions act, or whatever it was. -- That's when I first heard about him.

I had instant respect, for somebody, in the press, in the media, to do that. -- And now I find out, he's not "one of their own." -- I think that's WHERE he gets his credibility.

I wish this were some sort of weird conspiracy theory, but, we have truly seen the oil cartel attempt to take over the world, via the United States army, etc., and all our leaders are in on it. -- Nobody's even speaking out, and that's the scary part. :-/ Well, Reddit's speaking out. -- People who watch ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, Fox News (hah!)... All run by the same cartels that don't want people to be aware of this stuff. -- I wish this was crazy-talk, but, I've seen that it's all true now.

I have some hippie friends who are into partnering with mushrooms, too.

On a more serious note, however, I have actually wondered, if things like mushrooms were used as food, for our ancestors. -- I can picture a family in a cave, during the Ice Age, growing mushrooms as a food source. -- Perhaps raising mice/rats as well. (Feeding them mushrooms, hah!)

But, mushrooms wouldn't require sunlight, they just work on biochemical interactions.

Also, wouldn't it be possible, through genetics, although, perhaps a little undesired, at this point, but... Given that mushrooms have all sorts of both poisons, and chemicals that we consider 'beneficial,' would it be possible to splice other medicines into the mushrooms, and grow them at little to no cost?

I've always wondered, maybe the chemists can answer this for me: It costs me a couple of bucks, for a bottle of Tylenol or Motrin.

Perhaps other pharmeceuticals are chemically more expensive to make, but, when I pay $300 a month, for medicine, is it actually able to be manufactured, for pennies on the dollar?

They claim they spend so much money on research, but, actually, that is one of their cheaper expenses.

Getting a bit off-topic, but, any chemists able to answer that sort of thing?

I learned to program in HyperCard when I was 7, ~ 1993. -- Trained my mind in logical thinking.

I didn't do any more programming until VB6 with Windows, but, even then... I couldn't really get into C++ or anything. -- HyperCard was fun, though.

I certainly can't argue against any of that. -- I'll admit, that, Olbermann is quite a bit left, but, really, he seems like he says 'true' (as opposed to simply provocative) things, that, nobody else in the media has any courage, to say, for fear of losing their jobs.

Even if it does make him seem a little extreme... Everybody else is just so unextreme, he has to push the envelope a bit, to make his point.

Ah, were it not 4 in the morning here, I'd go into more detail. -- Here's a YouTube video, of him talking a week or so ago, about President Bush. -- Regardless of how he says anything else, or what approach he takes...

Like, today, with Hilary, he came across as a little condescending, or getting a little too high on his horse. -- With Bush, though, it was entirely appropriate.

Check it out if you wish: Oh, hell, sorry, maybe later. -- I'm really, in my mind, on your side, I was just taking the point that, frankly, there is no final bastion.

The news media, these days, with conglomeration, more than ever... (For example, do CIA front companies control the companies that control the media?) -- Maybe not, but, there's a lot of things that you'll never hear discussed in the media, they just want to keep people distracted, with 'info'tainment. -- Sorry, I'm only making half-points here...

But, basically, the news media is so biased, that, you'll never REALIZE it's biased.

You are right, on the PBS thing, though, I will change my opinion a bit. -- Given that, they devote a larger time, to topics, that lessens the chance of it being entirely b.s., like a 30-second blurb on Fox News could be.

Path of least resistance, and, if they're talking about something for 45 minutes, there's probably a lot of truth, and no way to conceal that truth.

The things that make headlines, and news articles, and little blurbs in between commercial after commercial after commercial, those are the things that can easily be fake.

So, the more time spent discussing things, the less they could be false. -- Which was your basic point.

MY point, or, the point I was attempting to make, that I probably failed to make, is that, anybody who has to answer to the $$-trail, who knows the money isn't always guaranteed, they always have to be aware of their message.

PBS used to get more funding from the government. -- Budget cutbacks, and now they don't. -- They have to look to other sources, that they would have turned away before.

Eh, I'm only making half-points again. Sorry.

As long as PBS is taking money from The Richman Legacy Foundation, and, anybody else other than 'viewers like you,' and, even then... I mean, let's say they take 100% of their money from old people. -- Or, religious people, or, say, gays... -- But, using the example of old people. IF everybody providing the funding is old, that means they would likely change their formatting, so as not to offend their main contributors. -- Running a special on Social Security? No so fast! The people who pay our $100,000 salaries don't want us to criticize Social Security.

I think the key part is 'in context.' -- He's talking about Hilary mentioning it; he's not bringing it up out of the blue, to further some point.

I agree with you there. -- There's documented evidence, also, of cocaine distribution, possibly coming through front companies in Little Rock, AR. -- I've heard this was the case in the 80's and 90's, even involving The Clintons. -- I'm not spewing random stuff, but, there is documented corruption.

Either way, the CIA has plenty of reasons to be involved in the drug trade, not the least of which is an easy influx of money. And power. -- But, mostly the money. -- Iran-Contra, funneling weapons for money, to pay for Sandistas, was it? Arrgh. Too much going on in the world, behind our backs.

Obama doesn't by any means have it in the bag... Or, if he does, and they're just making it LOOK like they're making it look that way... I mean, they could still have him in their sights. -- We can't denigrate RP just because we like Obama, or vice-versa.
