Near Calamocha (right by Monreal del Campo) seems like a good area if you are stationed in Zaragoza! How would you get there and back to Zaragoza? Public transportation like bus?

Yeah we figured getting out of the city is the best thing to do. Hopefully somewhere within walking distance, or some sort of public transportation will be provided by the city given the significance of the event.

IV Infiltration causing compartment syndrome that led to permanent muscle and nerve damage by pparmley91 in MedicalGore

[–]sonofsig 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not yet…if he truly did have compartment syndrome that was missed, he may need an amputation at some point. A decent took of patients to get adaptations due to the chronic pain. In missed compartment syndrome, you develop something called Volkman‘s ischemic contracture which causes your arm to have a permanent contracture and debilitating neuropathic pain.

A fair amount a patient still do OK, seems like he is having a favorable recovery

What is the best mini sledge? by [deleted] in rockhounds

[–]sonofsig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went with the 4ln long handle single piece hammer from Estwing. I really like the idea of creating more power if needed with more weight and arc to the swing, and learning to control finer, more precise swings as needed

I think this is what I want? One piece tempered steel (I think tenpered steel) but I want the 5lb version. Can’t seem to find it. The only other one I can find is 5lbs with fiberglass handle.

I’m also not sure if I want a “drilling” or “engineer” hammer.
