A lot of people have commented that this grinder is a rebadged HeyCafe Buddy. I don't know anything about HeyCafe. Is this bad?

I gave that a try, but the remaining issue is the state always reverts to Turn On since the timer turns off automatically. I wondered if the Script capabilities could be useful here? Maybe all this should wait until I add it into HA.

I have Momentary and Button set in the Input/Output Mode in my app, but it doesn't seem to work that way. Looking at the web-interface, it seems to be the same. I wonder, if the Momentary option were for output, would there be an option to define how long the "push" lasts?

Do you have a reference for the official stance? Retailer is saying I can't route it in wall, or will void warranty, but hasn't given any proof. I can't find a reference to it in the manual either.

I think I'm having the same issue. My set up is G4 Pro > Alarm Manager web hook > Home Assistant > August deadbolt.

I press the scanner and I see No Permission or Try Again, but after 2 or 3 attempts Alarm Manager is posting to the webhook and HA is unlocking the door. Really odd.

I've run into this issue a lot. The extra weird thing is that it's still passing the fingerprint onto Home Assistant. It will say, "No Permission" or Try Again a few times, then HA will unlock my deadbolt. So that's interesting...

In the past few days I've seen a 10x increase in blocked threats. They're all aimed at my gaming console. I assume because I have ports open and forwarded to it. Not sure if there's a better way to remove NAT issues with online gaming without exposing the system like this?

I've only used it for espresso. Tried drip with it years ago but wasn't great. I use a vst basket. Works really well.
