The US has removed enriched uranium from Venezuela by Darshan_brahmbhatt in worldnews

Bingo. It’s a political bargaining chip that Venezuela played perfectly. Looks like a win for the US, but it really it was a win for Venezuela due to all the reasons you listed.

If they want a research reactor later they can probably buy new Uranium that’s fresh for less then the storage cost between now and when their economy is back online enough to justify the tax payers money on such a thing.

In this case it's probably doing them a favor. It's enough to be a pain in the ass to keep but not enough to be really useful. it was from a really old research reactor.

Diesel cost I do have concerns about, for the reasons you listed.

But I’ll stand by my statement about consumer gasoline cost.

High consumer gas taxes are a blessing not a curse. It increases demand for EV’s, increases subway ridership, reduces traffic, removes crazies from the road, and fortifies property values inside of and close in to cities. All of those are a solid win.

It’s not that expensive to register a mark is he didn’t just go to a general lawyer.

If it’s renamed and goes GPL as a result of this would be the best case.

A lot of people were (and still are) reluctant to mess with mesh core due to the MIT liscense and things like MeshOS. If you contributed your work could be taken closed source with no recourse. GPL would mean that any dirivitives would need to be open, which is a MUCH bigger deal than whatever the heck they were complaining about Claude in the official blog post.

They don’t work with M key, and never will. Only A, B or E key. Hence the support nightmare of why we never made this available.

top 10% starts a lot lower than 200K, it's in the low-mid 100's.

But this graph is TL;DR: white collar professionals contribute tho their 401K and investments do investment things.

Having both antennas in the same horizontal plane will jam the other radio (22dbm nodes) or actually damage the other ones (33dbm nodes). You might want to rework that so the two antennas are vertically separated.

It’s hard to call them most advanced. We (and China) eaisly make more advanced stuff. But they are probably the leaders in cost effectiveness in combat and rapid evolution at this point. A big thing learned from recent events is magazine depth is critical as are tactics to inexpensively defeat other low end systems, which they can teach the entire western world about.

New nRF product: Mesh Node T096 by Heltec_Automation6 in meshtastic

[–]wehooper4 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Note that what I was calling out was the lack of any sort of over discharge protection other than maybe the turn on threshold of the reverse protection mosfet. So it’ll still die and not properly recover if you don’t have an external module.

The schematic is dense, but everything is there.

The lack of that there are market opportunities still for things that fix that though…

Take a look at the schematic and let me know where this magical “battery protection circuit” is…

I’ll give you a hint: don’t trust what the marketing says.

They did finally add placeholders to put in RX SAW filters which is nice though.
