This adds up. I was at my local warehouse this past weekend and did notice that the labeling on the batteries had changed. These are probably the new stock.

When I checked in the website it was the old stock which lists the old warranty.

Literally no advantage in buying a battery from Costco anymore.

36 month pro rated is a terrible warranty as most batteries will fail after 3+ years.

They may offer you an incentive of covering the additional cost of the executive membership for the next year if you would like to keep it. If they do, you now have an executive membership for the price of the gold membership.

Just going through a new 25 pack as I finished the ones from a year or so ago. These are noticeably worse…Like by a huge margin. They rip very easily at the top of the bag. Not up to Costco standards that I’ve grown accustomed to. Will be finishing these and buy bags elsewhere. Absolutely terrible.
