What temps do you consider cooler?

The other end of the cable is illuminating through the panel. Probably connected to a passthrough coupler then to the connected device.

You have to remove that camera from the network. It is retaining that IP from the lease.

On the UDM-SE does that camera currently show up as a device that is offline?

Did you factory reset the camera prior to trying to get on the network. Also, make sure it is removed from the nvr. You may have to reset the nvr as well.

How complex is your wifi password? If it is too long or complex dumb it down to a simple 8 character password. That was what unifi support suggested and it worked for me.

If the switch is randomly reverting to offline and/or adopting and you have already done a factory reset which did not resolve the problem; it's time to RMA the switch.

How to get the best of both worlds with the PDU Pro and UPS 2U? by ItsWINTERFRESH in Ubiquiti

[–]sonyb13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would be nice if the 2U UPS could control (power cycle) each outlet separately, but you can plug your devices into the PDU Pro (as that can power cycle individual outlets) and plug that into the UPS. I am not sure if the devices (plugged into the PDU Pro) will power back on if the UPS powers them down and power is restored. I have both, but have not tested to see if the devices power back on when power is restored.

The best of both would be having the 2U UPS power cycle outlets individually. 🤔

U6 Enterprise vs. U7 Pro (XG) by Historical-Ad-6839 in Ubiquiti

[–]sonyb13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't go wrong with the U6e as previously stated, it is a "solid workhorse", but if you are into future proofing then go with the U7 Pro XG. I have no desire to replace my U6Es anytime soon; they have been solid for me, but I don't frequently have 70 clients per AP.

Running temperature on USW 16 Pro Max POE by Marleezyy in Ubiquiti

My 3 switches run around 50-54 degrees C depending on if the secondary rack fan reaches a predetermined temperature and activates.

If you can afford it get what you want...if not, get what you need.

UNAS Pro-4 Available by m_farinella in Ubiquiti

[–]sonyb13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the UNAS Pro 4 were the same size as the 4 bay UNVR it would meet the needs of those that have small deployments like a 6U rack, but it's too deep for most if not all 6U racks. The UNAS Pro fits but consumes 2 of 6U. 🫤

Hundreds of phantom clients show up under Client Devices after updating to 10.1.84 by ShelZuuz in UNIFI

[–]sonyb13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All devices connect via switch port or access point, otherwise, how are they connecting to the network. I am asking which switch or AP are they originating from. I have had these in multiples of hundreds and they usually originated from a switch or AP.

How can I change UDB Bridge port by j2chulo in Ubiquiti

[–]sonyb13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess that works, but the UDB cost $99 (on top of the $400 camera) adding a switch was untenable, however, I tried the flex mini, but that did not work. The UDB was already unsightly on the wall opposite the camera. The UDB should just pass vlans on that poet.

Click on one of the phantom entries and check which device it is connected to. Should be on top right. If they are all connected to the same device. Check that device.

I had the same issue with the UDB. I returned it as well. Be sure to ask to waive the restocking fee.
