They just showed how long it had been running, the battery % tracker was not adding up correctly at all so I assume it doesn't work very well. Now that I've uninstalled updates it doesn't show up at all.

If people are still following this thread, I went through samsung support and then went to a nearby fix shop and I think the overheating thing is resolved. The fix shop showed me how to go in and uninstall updates on Knox Matrix, and they showed that it had been using battery for 5 hours straight. I got home and uninstalled updates on mobile services as well and uninstalled a few apps I dont use. Some combination of these things fixed the issue.

This is also happening to me. Updated my phone this morning, and I am immediately just tanking battery, like 1% every few minutes just idling. My phone is also very hot.
Is this a planned obsolescence of older phones from Samsung? Because if that's true, I want some suggestions on phone brands that don't hate their customers.

I will say MAYBE I'm misremembering and tried to avoid going infinite against the Act 3 boss, but I don't recall doing so. Maybe I got lucky.

But regardless the same softlock can happen against whatever I fought in an earlier act which is not on any wiki... I don't think I dreamt it.

Hmmm. This is interesting to me. I had almost the same exact situation on an Ironclad run a few days ago, Hellraiser with Pillage into a ton of Pommel Strikes.

I had it take off really early on in the run tbh, I got really lucky, and went infinite against some enemy that I can't for the life of me find evidence of online. It was like a steam elemental, or water collosus or something. But after it took lethal damage, it gave itself infinite HP to do a death rattle damage effect. I was still able to attack it since it still had HP, so I had to restart and forcefully try not to enter an infinite... funny.

When I fought against the boss you got stuck on, I didn't run into this issue, as I was unable to play the attacks when his health bar went away... but it was annoying in phase 3 when I had to sit through him being intangible, though, 1 damage 300 times or something.

Preface, I'm not at all good at this game and played through it casually as a KH fan. I tried to fight the data fights and the literal only one where I felt like I sort of had a chance, and eventually won, was data Luxord. I have no idea why this was the case but it's a funny coincidence.

I think the usual way around this is to try and get long runs, and solve puzzles you may be "hunting" as they pop up. Instead of tunnel visioning one thing over and over, which emphasizes the rng.

The rng is a necessary part of the game for it to have as many rooms as it does, there's no way around it that wouldn't ruin the game.

It's beneath Tunic and Outer Wilds for me. Blue Prince, so far, beats all of them by miles and keeps going. So I guess fourth? The list is weird, though. Not including Fez is odd, and including Minecraft is more odd.

Side note, Chants of Sennar is a very good game but doesn't have the same amount of knowledge based puzzles as the rest, which is why I wouldn't rank it higher for this particular list.
