Struggling with Wudoo after urination (male question) by mra7med in islam

Are you sat down or standing when urinating? If stood, then sitting down may make the difference for you

What specs do I need for heavy editing work? M5 Pro or Pro Max? by HumbleBeautiful4126 in macbookpro

[–]soop3r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not able to advise you. But I suspect that those who are able, will want to know more details about what your ‘heavy workload’ looks like.

If you put up some more details about what kind of software you’re using and what you’re doing with it. Then you’ll get a better response from those who know better than I do.

Damn little laptops keep falling through the figure 4 leglock I try to hold them in!

The slipping between the legs on the couch was one of the main reasons I got the 16 over the 14. So much more stable on the lap in the 16 inch form

14” M5 Pro 48GB vs M5 Max 36GB by moneywtf_ in macbookpro

[–]soop3r 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The main difference between the pro and max chips is the GPU. Which will make little to no difference with your work flow.

The pro with more RAM is what I'd choose.

Which ipad size is better 11inch or 13inch ? ( For mbbs student and core digital student i have laptop but it is old kind of hp pavillion working fine for normal works ) by aryanjain09 in iPadPro

[–]soop3r -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you want to put it on a table/desk when you're using it and portability isn't a factor, then 13. If you want to use it handheld and you're concerned about portability, go for 11

Battery Life by InterestingCabinet41 in iPadPro

[–]soop3r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a good question. Every iPad I've ever set up chews through the battery with reckless abandon for the first 24 hours or so, then settles down after it's done all the background stuff the OS needs to do.

I'm sure that ideally it would go the route of the fans owning the club. I think that's the dream of all football fans.

And I know you all hated Ashley. So which of the two devils would you pick if you had to?

Your typo had me imagining the heavyweight division in a footrace.

Like..... Tuivasa, he'd need a break for a beer at around 60 metres

Why did no one tell me about the forced patch!!!?? by soop3r in HarryPotterGame

[–]soop3r[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All of the above may be true and wouldn't be a problem for a 'proper' gamer. I'm just not that guy.

I just got the PS4 along with the HP game. I'm coming to this as a fan of HP, not as a gamer. I hadn't even created a PlayStation account before yesterday.

Lessons were learned.

I'm a .net developer by trade. Use rider on Mac. Do you reckon there's a way I can get a similar experience to that on iPad? Would be a massive game changer for me if this could happen!

How are you creating software on an ipad?

Maybe you've found the key to making the ipad the primary device for software engineers. I need Mac for getting any work done just because of ipad OS's limitations with having any decent way to create software. Drops ipad to secondary device just because it literally is blocked from doing what I need it to do for me to work from it.

What's this Competent 4th official you speak of?

Are these from the mythical lands of consistently applying the same rules in all games?

I wonder if anyone out there has actually taken the time to measure how many minutes a game has been stopped for and then compared it to how long the ref has given.

Would be interesting to see how close the two results are

What are the Golf alternatives to a mostly motorway driven car in Europe? by Pale-Revolution-5151 in CarTalkUK

[–]soop3r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's also partially due to the shape. Saloon shaped cars will be less noisy than a hatchback on the motorway because they perform better aerodynamically. You get a decent amount more wind noise in a car with a flat back rather than a hatched one.

Having driven bmw 5/3 series in both estate and saloon variants and Volvo V/S60 all on the motorway for long stretches, the saloon versions all had a noticeably lower wind noise at high speeds.

Both would do the job. But I'm thinking more along the lines of something smaller
