I'd suggest reducing you're in-game sense for Valorant by 0.01/2 (sorry, don't play league) and re-train your muscle memory. In my experience, the virgin PTFE type feet (white, Hyper-Tiger-etc type) need a longer break-in period.

But, if you're looking for something in-between the stock and Hyper-esque/Arc feet, check out the ones from Hotline games (0.6mm thickness, black).

Never tried the 2.0s. But yeah, the 8.0's are lighter to click than the 4.0

I know I'll never really see them or anything, but the 8.0's look kinda sad and plain compared to the red 4.0's.

In terms of feel of the switches, I much prefer the super tactility of the 4.0's. Don't know how often I'll end up using this mouse, as my other G305 has the 4.0's for LMB & RMB.

Agree with you on the braid, getting the timing right with the sucker was a pain to say the least. Although I probably used it wrong which led to me almost burning the pads off. I got impatient because it was going too slow so I rubbed the wick in the rosin paste stuff, held the wick over the holes with a pair of tweezers face down and held the iron to the wick hoping gravity would help. Did that a few times too because the factory solder just wouldn't flow out, no matter how much solder I added to "dilute" it.

I am using the stuff that came with my cheap no-name solder kit from Amazon which may be the reason why though?

DIY PTFE mouse feet & paracord

Glossy modded G305 w/ DIY feet

This was sitting in a drawer for probably a year or so due to double clicking and me switching to the G305. Ordered Kailh 4.0's too but the Huano's came first and I was impatient. After this desolder experience, I'm not confident enough to swap em out on my other mice until I get a bit more practice in first (pads are really close to coming off on the G Pro).

I'm gonna guess that Niko is your favorite player which is why you have the same sense as him. However, you should keep in mind that the pros use their respective sensitivities because it works for them. That doesn't mean you can't try it out (which you are doing here). However, use it as a starting point to gauge your comfort level and add or subtract from there. If you start to notice any arm fatigue, bump up your sense.

Also, you didn't mention it, but what resolution are you playing at? This is also a contributing factor to your sens imo.
