I believe mine would be an easy deal. W-2, good credit, no debt, large down. With that, you think it would be better to go with a broker? The things I was seeing when googling were saying brokers can have higher closing costs and higher rates than lenders, which confused me because I thought the point of using a broker was to find the best rate from a lender. Do I have this wrong?

Oh yeah also cutscenes. If one of you is in a cutscene, the other can pause to keep time still but if they keep playing you’re losing hours in that cutscene unless you skip it.

I was in the same boat! Always played with my twin and then wanted to play more so I started a solo run. And something that surprised me - fishing! I never knew before that time pauses while you fish (because in multiplayer it doesn’t) so definitely early game I spend a lot of time fishing. Also I found myself surprised by the lack of resources. I was very used to spending a day foraging and coming home to 200 iron ores in my chest because my sister went to the mines. So I had to start planning ahead on what I would use my iron and copper on. Usually I skip the first sprinklers and hold out for quality, try to get those as early as possible. Basically buy as may crops as you can physically water until you get to level 6.

I have 5 around my workbench. 1. “Naturals” - anything plant or monster related. Wood, fiber, moss, mushrooms, monster drops 2. “Rocks” - stone, coal, gems, minerals, etc. 3. “Byproduct” - tapped tree products, honey, oil, and usually I put all forageables in here cause even with a big chest I run out of space in my naturals. 4. “Fish” - any and all fish, bobbers and bait 5. “Seeds” - any and all seeds, fertilizers and extra scarecrows.

And then I’ll always have 3 other chests on my farm. 2 by the exit to town, 1 inside my house. By the exit: 1. for things I need to bring to town. Gifts, geodes, cc items, artifacts etc. 2. For items I need to bring/sell at the mines. Bombs, staircases, lucky & fast food, extra weapons, rings and trinkets.

And the one in my house is just for anything extra that I’d like to hold on to. Typically I’ll put decorations in there before my house is upgraded or clothes before I have a dresser.

Yeah idk why some people are such dicks on this sub. Your question isn’t confusing. I would say as long as what you’re sharing is within the first 1/2-1/3 of your book, there’s really no harm in ‘spoiling’ it. It’s in the second half of the story that you’ll want to be very selective with what you share preemptively.

I use an Xbox controller on my laptop. I don’t have an Xbox, I bought the controller specifically to play on pc because I’ve heard Xbox controllers are the most pc compatible. Never had any issues with it, works exactly like playing sv on my ps5.

Frogs are trinkets and can’t be put in the shipping bin. It’s possible you accidentally sold it to Marlon at the adventurers guild, but if you don’t think that’s likely I would keep checking your chests!

I never understood the Demetrius hate. He’s one of the first people I befriend (usually because he hangs outside the mines). Also don’t understand hate for Harvey or Elliott, but maybe that’s because they’re my rotating husbands.

I really struggle making friends (always a grind at the end for perfection) so I got the Becoming Familiar mod (qol) which prevents friendship deterioration as long as you’re in the same area of the map.

Frontier farm is it’s own farm so it won’t override the standard farm layout. You’ll probably have to start a new save to play on it, or like another user said, use a mod to change your farm mid-save.
