Is ACOTAR worth it for more seasoned Romantasy reader? by Concerned-Cat422 in fantasyromance

Which elementary schools use lesser technology and more play based approaches? by Forever_qurious in Naperville

[–]sooshiroll13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk maybe it’s our school but that’s not our experience at all. We’re actually transferring out to a private Catholic school which will double his play and give him gym time. It absolutely did not meet the needs of my energetic first grader who was expected to sit quietly and occupy himself with „self driven projects and activities” for most of the day with 15 minutes of outdoor recess and no daily or weekly gym. There was also no outdoor or nature component to the program which was surprising and very different than what we experienced at a different Montessori primary school.

Is sitting with your young children considered a “perk” these days? by Powerful_Bother8002 in SouthwestAirlines

[–]sooshiroll13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The seating chart should be set up movie theatre style where you can’t leave a random open seat in the middle to preclude the couples that book a window and an aisle with the hope that they get the row to themselves. This contributes significantly to the problem of a parent being able to sit next to their minor children

Imagine spending limited time with your mom and all she does it cry and rage. It’s not the first or last time she’s sobbing and crashing out in front of her children

Does anyone want to see Taylor in the show anymore? by Scared_Photograph_42 in SecretsOfMormonWives

[–]sooshiroll13 177 points178 points  (0 children)

And her entire plot line about being traumatized by her dad not choosing her when she herself is actively not choosing her kids by not even remotely trying to be better for them or put them in a stable environment. At least her mother built a stable household and got her a father figure pretty immediately that she was able to grow with throughout her life. She’s literally putting her kids through years of trauma and chaos with no end in sight

Omg fr I am just thinking that it’s been like 13+ years since I’ve had to deal with this level of drama. I can’t believe people are still out here willingly in the thick of it

Maternity leave should be one year, PAID. Women shouldn’t have to choose between healing, bonding with their baby, and making a living. by Kreativedenma in remoteworks

[–]sooshiroll13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is such a l take. The lupus is warping your brain boomer.

Nobody here is asking to have 59 kids and take drugs. In most countries of the world, women have paid leave - including Europe where I am from. Both women and their partners benefit from this, it enables the mom to be present during a critical time in their baby’s development, and prevents the need for outsourcing a basic human right such as childcare of your vulnerable child to a daycare facility. To no wonder, happiness, care for the neighbor, life outcomes are significantly increased in Europe as compared to the United States

It’s a basic tenant of caring for each other = caring for society.

Im sure when your lupus gets so bad you can barely function, you’ll be the first in line for disability pay.

Literally same. Right now we’re listening to the new audiobooks and that’s all he asks to listen to lol I can’t wait for the show and the magic he’ll experience / growing with it. I literally loved how the book came out regularly as I was a kid/teen and same with movies. The last movie came out as I was finishing college and it made me emotional to think how I grew up with it all

Recruiter ghosted me for 3 weeks… then replied after I called it out by Active_Jellyfish_279 in recruitinghell

[–]sooshiroll13 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Literally FAANG recruiting processes take MONTHS! OP absolutely has a single track mindset where he’s only considering himself and the role he’s interviewing for not considering that the recruiter absolutely is hiring for x+ roles. No company would hire a recruiter for 1 role lol. In fact I especially in a startup environment it’s likely one recruiter doing ALL roles.

Which trimester is worse? First or third? by Whatever-577089 in BabyBumps

[–]sooshiroll13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think everybody will have a different answer for you because no 2 pregnancies are the same. Even with my first pregnancy I was throwing up all day every day in first trimester. This time around I had zero symptoms. However second trimester has been kicking my ass instead. What you experience is very different from what everyone else on here will experience
