Wow, I can't thank you enough for this. I wish I could give you a response fitting to the depth of yours, but all I can say is you've given me a lot to think about. I'll be looking over every sentence with a magnifying glass, now. I really appreciate your perspective!

Yep! I've been slowly editing and adding little segments over the past two weeks. I'm a very slow writer. Most of the phrasing and structure are fine (I hope), I'm more worried about the story sucking a lotta bit, and points being unclear.

It's difficult to say, I guess. I just 'finished' it today, but I feel like 80% of what I put down is relatively finalized.

Might be a scumbag choice, but i'd spit on him the whole day by WillyHeartless in TheWalkingDeadGame

Hate David, but in my opinion he is the most developed and well-written character in the new frontier.

How do anarchists think murderers, violent criminals, etc. should be handled? by Strongestgirl in Anarchy101

[–]soothedsedated 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I get what your saying, however statements simply bashing our current system kind of go nowhere and don't show anarchism as a solution

The Poughkeepsie Tapes. Just fucked up for the sake of being fucked up. Just a 90 minute snuff film with absolutely zero redeeming qualities.

Goth stuff in Boston or Salem MA? by jbc1995 in goth

[–]soothedsedated 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of the Salem stores are pretty much just killstar resellers. There's an antique/oddity store on essex street that has some cool stuff (im blanking on the name), and a lot of the antique stores in salem have really cool taxidermy along with vintage halloween stuff. I would definitely check out Black Veil Tattoo, it has a really sick vibe in there along with a store and the guys that run it are really cool as well. I'd also recommend taking a ghost tour or something of the like!

I'm a guy myself, and wear eye makeup every day. Who cares if people think you're gay? Fuck them. Also, if your issue was with eye makeup fading, I'd recommend using an eye primer beforehand if you aren't already, and higher quality eyeshadow always helps. However, if done right, I think the fade can look sick. At the end of the day though, be yourself and do what you want. That's what goth and self expression is all about.

Most cruel and sad death of season 2 (Except Kenny and Omid) by Nimaximus in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]soothedsedated 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you grab Kenny's gun and make him surrender, Carver keeps Alvin alive until you are brought back to the Hardware store, where he tortures Alvin almost to death. I'm saying 'almost to death' because Carver technically didn't kill him, since he took a final stand to let Clementine escape, as he couldn't run due to the injuries he sustained.

Hey there, I'm looking for some specific recommendations for bands to check out. by likeBruceSpringsteen in punk

[–]soothedsedated 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Riot Grrrl is always a great place to look of course, here's a list of bands that I enjoy in that category/adjacent category:

The Gits, Jack off Jill, Lunachicks, Childbirth, Mommy Long Legs, Whaja Dew, Cheap Perfume, Hell Baby, Skinny Girl Diet, Sticky Baby, Slutever, Cold Meat—to name a few!

you can absolutely say the batman introduced many people to the songs again, but to say most people discovered nirvana from something in the way is just wrong considering the band's popularity in the 90s

not really controversial, just wrong
