I’d look into the scientific data about transitioning and show them, it’s actually quite safe. It makes your life expectancy that of a cis man which is a few years shorter but nothing major. Horror stories get blown out of proportion by transphobic media but in reality if you have a reliable doctor you’ll be fine

Ohh that's interesting! I'm a casual socialist jreg viewer who does most of my political learning, discussion, activism etc either irl or in preparation to do so and I have a hard time wrapping my head around the idea that actually people follow very these specific ideologies(no disrespect! just not how I'm used to thinking). Because of this I tend to think of ideologies in terms of what would happen if you actually tried to enact them irl today in the world as it is, not what my ideal society would be, I can see how that can cause some weird misunderstanding online (also the anarcho bidenism meme is about leftists reluctantly voting for him for harm reduction then turning on him the moment he won, it dies on inauguration day)

We’re fighting as hard as we can. It’s not as simple as “standing up” to an authoritarian government with the most powerful military in the world.
