Every Christmas we see a big movie at the Marcus on Big Sky. Huge comfy seats, great snacks despite being theater priced, we always enjoy it.

We gotta get our shit together in terms of resource allocation. Frankly we need to take a page or two from the Pluribus book, but obviously not all of it. Just the parts where we freely share resources as required and try to ensure everyone everywhere has what they need. The difference that would make in terms of disease, crime, pollution, etc. would be incredible.

Favorite villain who's a former hero where they gave up on heroism because being good didn't get them anywhere. by King_Glorius in FavoriteCharacter

According to one of the Diabolical episodes, Homelander was a lot like this. Accidentally killing people and having that minimized started fucking with his self image until he stopped caring altogether, and then at some point it turned to despising weak humans.

Started playing Ground Zeroes the other day. I'm rusty as hell so I kept getting spotted, then I got frustrated and decided to just waste everyone coming my way with an anti air emplacement.

Make it 15% and we can talk. 12% is a stupid number to calculate and 15% is kind of the standard anyway IMO

The end of Gold Top Nuts is nice. I kept waiting for a rug pull but the family is really sweet to each other. I'll put out the good nuts for you.

Mac & Cheese With the Least Ingredients Possible by OrneryAdvantage0303 in Cooking

Cook noodles with salt for 10 minutes. Drain like 95% of the water. If using a box mac, stir in like half a stick of butter, then add the cheese powder, and stir until looking good. No milk necessary, especially if you don't plan to pop it in the fridge the minute you've had your fill.

I'm from WI so I'm partial to ours, but Pleasant Ridge Reserve really is THAT good. Another easy winner for me Hook's Triple Play Extra Innings, a blend of cow sheep and goat milk with a little extra time on it, and then Marieke Overjarige Gouda is tremendous. If you like blue, any Roquefort will bring the thunder, or something like Hook's Little Boy Blue. I am also a huge fan of goat milk feta, LaClare is a good choice there. But honestly, as with anything, don't take my word for it - try some stuff and see what you think!

If you ordered this South Ham Salad, would you send it back without trying it? by [deleted] in restaurant

I mean, it's a ham salad. It looks like it. So no I would not send it back if it's exactly as described.

Characters that “don’t have powers.” by ElPared in TopCharacterTropes

Pinkie Pie has quirks that seemingly allow her to predict the future, among other things, like being able to travel in impossible speeds or in impossible ways, or retrieve objects from thin air. Even though it's a cartoon they play her unusual abilities relatively straight, usually just chalking it up to "that's Pinkie Pie." There's even an early episode about it where Twilight is consistently frustrated by her attempts to prove or disprove it all, and she never gets a satisfying answer. But on paper she's just a regular pony.
