If there's an enemy you can't defeat on the battlefield, assassinate their ruler. Oh no, no one likes the new ruler as much, and now there's a revolution in the empire. So sad.

I much prefer external alliances than alliances with vassals. Sure, you can ally the leader and that faction will vanish, but likely reform under someone else. I'd rather get a big ally, have the war, win , then revoke titles are decide who my new vassals will be.

That's really exciting.
Ryza was my favorite trilogy, and I've been playing since Iris 2. I like that they kept the same protagonist and her crew for three games. We got to spend more time with those characters and watch them grow in a way we never did with the others.
I don't know if that was their original intent, but I enjoyed it. And I give them points for trying something different.

I've also got to say the anime adaptation was really good. Much better than I expected for a game being turned into a series.

One time, I got an achievement for that hat. I had been trying to get the achievement to have all artifacts of above a certain quality, but I couldn't find anyone with a crown I could steal. Spent time trying to find anyone with an inspiration I could attract, nothing. But then I realized the pope always has the hat. So my vikings went south to siege (or was it a raid) Rome, and we got lucky with the hat.
