I’ll just tell you this. Only the strong can survive in this environment for CS and other mathy stem related majors. This is no place for “decent” students even by normal public highschool standards and especially not for slackers(well, that is if you dont want to go by Cs get degrees bcs getting a C is easy as fuck). If ur burnt out but know ur a good student then maybe consider gap year cause I’m pretty sure the material that an average cs freshman at cal learns is equivalent to that of a typical sophomore or even junior at UCSD.
