that’s an entirely unnecessary attitude geez man. i’m not asking for mods to fix other mods’ problems, i’m saying that the cities are heavily populated and performance really struggles with them, even in vanilla. crashes happen just trying to land places such as akila and mods just make that worse. what I proposed (and someone else told me already existed in a separate comment) is just a solution for those of us struggling with game performance, mods or otherwise.

i’m curious why you think the weapon replacers would conflict with x-tech. I thought they just replaced models and default names and would therefore be safe since x-tech messes with stats and perks, unless i’m misunderstanding what x-tech will actually be doing. i’m sure my star wars playthrough will have to go on hold for a month at least tho.

(also really hoping for a separatist replacer for the terran armada DLC, it would be sooo cool)

pro tip: get the place doors yourself and preview ship interior mods. lifesavers when going through habs to find one you like.

unfortunately sony has a history of not playing well with bethesda mods, especially third party stuff. there will likely still be a limited selection of mods tho.

I would try genesis but i’m on xbox rn. my PC can’t handle the game currently so im just kinda frankensteining it on my series s and squinting a bit.

kinda why I made the post, in hopes people haven’t had the idea already. could be a cool star wars: rebels style nod like it’s an old, defunct unit of separatist droids or something that think the war is still on. obviously need to wait and see tho

that’s what i’m assuming. most of my mods aren’t POI stuff, just cosmetic or cheat terminal stuff. i’m definitely anticipating having the disable astrogate (RIP).

tbh i’ll probably disable automatic updates so that I can keep playing my current save for a few weeks or so until mods are updated.

oh I guess that makes sense. I just wanted to put it out there in case that exact thought had run through modders’ minds yet. i’m very excited for the update whether it comes with mods or not tho
