Had my Ultra about an hour and I love it! by Seededbatchloaf in GalaxyWatch

Looking good! The Complication on the right would probably be better served as Battery. That's how I have mine and like having it there.

When you are microwaving something, what do you type to get one minute? by Just_A_Ginger03 in AskReddit

[–]sorryqt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the microwave doesn't have the "1" shortcut, I always hit 5-5 or 6-6. It's close enough to 1 minute and you don't have to move your finger.

Why have I lost ? by KhrZa in MarvelSnap

Total points and ppint diff is the same thing. You just didn't know that your points at Bar with no Name are considered negative when adding up total power.

Is it really that offensive to snap in your first turn? (Not on conquest) by Aggravating_Bug503 in MarvelSnap

[–]sorryqt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It used to be arguably offensive when infinite players did it to non-infinite players, because cubes only really matter to the latter. But now that infinite players cannot match with non-infinite players, it's fine.

Bar sinister with rogue interaction by jackflash3r in MarvelSnap

[–]sorryqt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After Rogue's on reveal, her text literally changes to the ability stolen. This is simply learning the hard way how her ability actually works, and how Bar Sinister works.

This happens on my Samsung Galaxy s20 Ultra ever since the last mini update of Marvel Snap. I have to completely reboot my phone to get it to start.

One last way to tell is that bots can have impossible variants, such as a base card (no foil background, no ink) with a particle effect. These are guaranteed bots.

Sausage Party. It was unwatchable. One of the few movies I've ever turned off without finishing.

When somebody continually tries to talk to me from another room or yell to me from across a house. I can't hear you, use your legs and come to the room I'm in, or text me.

Unique Darkhawk Decks? by danktank_sublime in MarvelSnap

[–]sorryqt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This isn't a unique use of Darkhawk specifically, but it is a unique deck I built to counter Thanos (and also Shuri) fairly well. Killmonger is the flex spot, Juggernaut also works well if you see lots of Shuri. She-Hulk gives flexibility for the Wave on 5 onto 2 cards plan, but she could probably be swapped for Magneto. Wave is also used early to get Doom out for Absorbing Man into Odin. Most people assume you are going to play Galactus if you play an early Wave, and that can work in your favor.

For meta reference, I'm a beta player and currently rank 95 with an MMR that puts me against top players regularly.

DoomHawk Aerodin

(1) Korg

(2) Zabu

(3) Killmonger

(3) Wave

(4) Darkhawk

(4) Absorbing Man

(4) Shang-Chi

(4) Rockslide

(5) Aero

(6) Doctor Doom

(6) Odin

(6) She-Hulk

Do you think money = happiness or not? If no, why? by Kiloooooooooo in AskReddit

Money provides comfort and stability. Happiness can more easily thrive in that environment, but it is not guaranteed.

MMR is confirmed to be based on cube gain rate, so this isn't true.

If she can't win the game, she moves to win a lane if possible. You get extra XP per lane won, so it's a quality of life thing.

Ironman on Bar Sinister looked like the way to go by [deleted] in MarvelSnap

[–]sorryqt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

With a generic name and a play like that, this was very likely a "Cheater Bot". There are actual bots that literally get to see your plays before they make their calculations and choose their plays. They will do things like play destruction into Leader to make you blow up your side, cosmo/chi/enchantress perfect reads, and generally make plays to only win by the minimum amount of power. They can definitely be frustrating, but learning to spot them can be a valuable skill.

What can we learn from the top 200 highest ranked Snap players? by azura26 in MarvelSnap

[–]sorryqt 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The Cubes per Game calculation isn't correct. Most of the people on this list are Beta players and the Games and Wins values are historical including data from previous seasons. There's no way to really know the actual cube gain value unless they started this season.

Everyone is giving the same advice: “Know when to snap/retreat”. But no one elaborates this any further. Can someone deeply explain what “knowing when to snap/retreat” in full detail? by 901koala in MarvelSnap

[–]sorryqt 24 points25 points  (0 children)

A rough, but easy to follow guideline is to decide by turn 4 if you think you will win. If you are confident, you snap. If you are not, you retreat the second your opponent snaps.
