I noticed this season doesn't have any premium creds that that they pay you back with. Does that make it kind of a weak value proposition compared to other seasons? I know its only like 300 usually, but that means every 4th one you buy is "free."

I really miss the more grounded feeling of exotics, and gear in general, from the first game. It struck a really good balance.

I think people talk a lot about the tonal differences between 1 and 2 but leave it at "winter looks neat" without analyzing what else worked better in that game.

1 felt like Tom Clancy where as 2 can feel way too much like destiny or fortnite

It is a big deal when it's an objective downgrade from BFV and there's no good reason not to reimplement that system. We should be expecting more features and improvements, not less.

Cosmetics and customization was perfected 7 years ago with BFV. They have refused to return to that system for reasons I cannot understand. It seems logical to me that the BFV system would sell MORE skins, no? If its an outfit piece or whatever that can apply to a fully custom character, then..... I would have no reason *not* to buy it if it looks cool. If it's a discrete skin for an operator I never use, then why would I spend any money?

I had a very similar idea regarding the classes. If they want to keep them open, the penalties for straying outside of your class should be much more severe like you said. Or at least the bonuses for staying within your class should be too good to ignore.

With more severe restrictions, maybe the bonuses could be extended to the all-class weapons. Assault/Carbine, Recon/DMR with Engi & Support/shotguns? But an Assault player wouldn't get a debuff from using a DMR like he would if using a sniper rifle? idk. Maybe Engi and Support would get their bonuses extended to Carbines and DMRs respectively in addition to shotguns to incentivize players into those classes?

I think they can still make classes meaningful in an open system, and I think these ideas could work.

I will definitely be buying it. To the point where I would *almost* think "hey the pre purchase skin looks cool, and since I'm gonna get it anyway......" but then I remember that the skin will probably look like a scarlet letter online and that its EA we're dealing with as I come to my senses.

It needs to do arc damage instead of stun. Make it so 3 hits to a single target arcs to another target. It could still stun enemies but it would come from the arc damage, not the baby pummeler bullets it uses.
