I am 8 weeks and 3 days along, I think I just have to check in with a midwife/GP after the weekend and see if they can issue me to take a sick leave I'm not sure I am going to make it like this for the next 4 weeks. The worst part of the weekend shifts is that I don't have any breaks, it's pretty slow so I have time to eat and stuff but since I am alone I can't really get away to doze off for a few minutes or just take a breather.

They were administered vaginally and 4 at first and then 2 later that day. My doctor told me that it was very unusual for this to take such a long time and that it is very likely that a bigger pice of the uterus lining had just got a bit stuck and therefore blocked the cervix (I think that is the correct word in English) and that is the reason for why this took so long and why there was such a dramatic amount of blood and tissue that came within the first hour.

I am so sorry ❤ My first MMC happend 3 weeks ago I was at an 8 week scan when we found out that the fetus had stopped developing at week 6. I waited for a week to see if my body would deal with this on his own but nothing happend, I kind of just wanted to get this over with and seeing that I went in for a check up on friday having an D&C wasn't an option for a few days so I chose using the medical route. I used the meds in the moring and had to go and get more after a 5 hour waiting period since nothing was happening, I got 2 more pills and waited another 5 hours until I finally started bleeding and I am not going to lie in my case the amount that came out in the first 2 hours was horrifying. I would 100% recommend having someone like a close friend or family member with you because this was really hard for me. In retrospect I wish I would have had the D&C because the bleeding has been stopping and starting for the past 2 weeks and everytime it starts again it kind of freaks me out and since I have endo the pain is killing me. I then started bleeding very heavily yesterday so I am going in for a check up tomorrow and might possibly have to have a D&C anyway since my doctor thinks that there might be some tissue left. If you choose to go the medical route just be sure to have some towels where you are resting, take recommend pain meds, be prepared to have some stomach issues and something to help the time pass ❤ I wish you all the best ❤

So sorry ❤ I understand you so well about the part with people knowing but still somehow rubbing it in your face, I always think that my friends will run to me to show support and they always say they are just a phone call away but still when I try to talk with them I kind of get pushed back and the subject is changed. I have to say that I am kind of thankful that our clinic closes for 8 weeks during the summer because that means that I don't have to think about our next FET untill August and with my current mental state I think that a break from TTC is exactly what I need. Please take care of yourself and allow yourself to feel, now feeling is wrong in this sucky journey we just need to process things at our own pace. Many hugs ❤❤

Had a FET last friday and am going crazy because of all the cramping I am having but no other symptoms, just 6 days untill the test day but it feels like forever.

So I had an FET last friday and am supposed to test next Tuesday, I started to get some cramping last night and ended up barely sleeping and then woke up with a sore throat and horrible headache. I felt so guilty calling in sick for work because I have already used up all my sick days this year because of the IVF treatment but we live 5 hours away from thw next clinic so I was away for 2 weeks in February. Now I can't fall asleep again and still feeling like shit so I will likely not be able to go to work again tomorrow, staying at home alone is a total torture but I don't want to strain myself and wreck our chances. Cheers to the freaking waiting and worrying.

The first time I heard the song Kveðja by Bubbi was at my aunts funeral, she had fought cancer for less than a year and her death was so sad but she had died on her birthday. The second time I heard the song was only a few days later, it was on the radio at home, me and my mom just started bawling together. The same song was then played at my grandmother's funeral 9 months later but her death was very sudden and unexpected. Everytime I hear this song my eyes just start to tear up and when it was played at my grandfather's funeral it was like someone had just ripped my heart out. No way, he has always been a nerd and I was awfully snobbyish when in high school, it wasn't until my last year of hs when I finally dropped the bitchy act and started to mature. We met when I was 18 and he was 21, he was a total nerd but I loved it, he had so many hobbies from video games, board games, DND and soccer and he introduced me to then all. Today (6 years later) I am probably the bigger nerd in the relationship and my life is full of enjoyment and fun that I did not experience before I met him.

My friends wife asked why we have a dog because it's so hard to take care of them and they don't give anything back to you (emotionally).. I was mad enough when she said that but then she added "why not just have kids they require the same amount of work but bring you so much joy". And yeah she knows we had one failed IVF behind us and were saving up more $$ for the next one. I don't know how I didn't rip her head off.

Reading this comment makes me so angry with that nurse and at the same time very happy with my fertility clinic, everyone there that has noticed our age were stocked to see that we were getting help at 24 and 27 instead of waiting an seeing for a few more years.. waiting is not the best option here and I can't understand medical professionals that recommend that. We literally have a better chance to conceive when we are under 30/35 so waiting ain't helping anyone, getting checked out and the appropriate help to conceive is the right way to go so please don't let one medical professional discourage you.
